So, who do you think? Despite the current Man Yoo team being racked by injuries they are playing some quality football. Arsenal, of course, continue to thrill and entertain. Even my own Aston Villa are playing some good, open, attacking stuff.

What do you guys think?

And who do you think are some of the worst footballing sides? Have to say Chelsea have done very little to fire my imagination, lots of time wasting tactics and gamesmanship.

Arsenal are by far the best footballing side in the Premiership bar none, possibly in the world at present. This is coming from a Tottenham supporter.

Chelsea are poor and this is the first season in a long time I'm looking forwad to playing them, I can't really see them beating us the way they are currenty playing.

Man United still create and threaten however I can't see them challenging the Arse. Newcastle are a shambles and I don't see any improvement in Liverpools style of play since Rafa Benitez took over.

Spurs will get it together soon I feel, although we've had a decent start to the campaign I'm not getting carried away and still say a mid-table position will do us fine.

Villa look ok but thy're defence looked very dodgy against Newcastle, luckily Newcastles defence was much, much worse.

Definately Arsenal, and I'm not being biased because I support them. :) Although they could still improve...I think we miss Campbell and Viera defensively atm. Cygan, Lauren, Clichy, Hoyte are not that great. :/

arsenal are playing the nicest to watch

chelsea are playing the best to win football, they are so disciplined now and once their attacking unit has matured they will be deadly

i like how norwich and wba are playing though!

and boro.. wow.

just noticed the last post: hoyte is only inexperienced, clichy is a great wingback

Arsenal. By far the most elegant team in the premiership.

Chelsea might be grinding out the results at the moment, but their football is not a patch on Arsenals.

i've been impressed by norwich, bolton, villa
arsenal have been playing well but that's been expected i think
however if chelsea can continue to win games despite their side not having fully adapted yet (communication/tactics/strike partnerships) then i think they could better arsenal soon

bear in mind the current arsenal side have had a few years of playing together and introducing new faces one at a time wont really show the communication problems as much as chelsea

Not too worried about lack of communication when Drogba has a first touch like a trampoline and complete lack of any control of the ball. He can jump quite high and that seems about it.

When Chelsea have to play anyone of real quality they will struggle, and Man U with Rio, Heinze, Keane, Wes Brown, Van Nistelrooy & Saha missing doesn't count as a team of real quality. The full Man United first team would've beat them easily, as it is those reserve players that came in controlled most of that game and Chelsea nicked it with a scrappy goal that was down to an error from the makeshift defence.

Liverpool are looking pretty dire at the moment also. I thought Spurs had a good result drawing 1-1 with them first game of the season but now it's looking more like two points dropped.

He's better than say.. Ferreira or Cavalho, who Chelsea paid £13.5m and £18m for. He's suffered from a hell of a lot of injuries though.

no? cant say so this early in the season, charlton are better than liverpool and man utd and newcastle arent they.. no!

chelsea have already cast aside what many would see as a difficult game (man utd), arsenal still need to do that.. easy start so far.

jonaldo haha.. brown isnt better than either of those players

stop judging these people so early, normally takes foregin players a long time to settle in, and these have conceded just one goal which was honestly only a moment of pure brilliance that undone it(not the defences fault he scored)

when they DO get it together you really do have something to fear, and the attack is getting better every game
drogba was great vs southampton

Chelsea scraped their win against a poor man united, they haven't looked at all threatening to be honest. Arsenal have conceded more, but they've also scored a hell of a lot more too, just look at the goal difference.

first competitive game

they are only going to get a lot better, a whole lot better.

champions are teams that win even when they play bad, chelsea do that already

I can tell, that's why he was part of the rock that was known as Man Ure's defence last year.

Or not as the case may be.

16 goals in 4 games, entertainment value is clearly Arsenal. Some of the things Arsenal players and the team do during their matches are simply stunning and I would rather watch them play than any other side atm.

I am impressed with Villa, but then I have always known O'Leary is a good manager and I knew he'd turn them good like he did with Leeds.. not sure why Leeds got rid of him...

Norwich have been doing good considering they are the new boys and I think they'll definitely be staying in the Prem next season based on their current efforts.

Chelsea have done enough in all of their games, but the only real outstanding player they have had so far this season is Lampard who is such a benefit to their side it's hard to imagine them without him atm.

It's Arsenal without a doubt. Fair enough about conceding goals but once Campbell's back they'll be solid at the back although I still think Lauren is really really average, why is he still there?

Man Utd have looked dire this season and I can't see them improving hugely, they'll still be up there but I think that in a year or two when the team Fergie's slowly assembling come together they'll be back to their best, but the football they've played in past years hasn't been a patch on Arsenal.

Chelsea will challenge, no doubt about that. Mourinho is a fantastic manager and Drogba is physically perfect for the Premiership, be interesting to see how he does and I thought Carvalho was superb in Euro 2004. As with Man Utd, the team will take time to gel and Arsenal have started the season with more or less the same eleven that finished it with the exception of Fabregas in for Vieira and Campbell being out, I think.

I also fancy Charlton, Boro and Villa to do well. WBA will stay up quite comfortably.

People turned a discussion about which sides are good to watch ("good football") into which teams will win stuff. Having just got back from the Villa v Chelsea game today it's clear to see that Chelsea will win something this season ... but they are still not a good team to watch. Five minutes into the game they are timewasting at their own free kicks and have lots of players who are good at gamesmanship. The number of body checks, both on and off the ball was ridiculous.

Drogba is a donkey, not even as good as Carlton Cole. Delaney, a right back for goodness sake, playing at centre back had him in his pocket for virtually all of the match.

Villa played some nice stuff, but our lack of strength in depth - particularly on the striking front - saw us only pick up a point. But whereas we will struggle when we lose our better players to injury or suspension Chelsea will have people to bring in. Just a shame that they play so boringly really.

Blimey, lots of mentions of Norwich, hopefully they can actually win a game or two now they've got Man U, Arsenal and Newcastle out the way.

Oh, and Rob Green for England No. 1 btw.
