Best DVD-Rom drive

ok guys time to flex your impressive knowledge base and tell me which DVD-Rom is the best buy at the moment? Since it seems my old one is now totally knackered which is well annoying since I picked up the Sopranos DVD boxset the day before it died :(

That is indeed not a bad looking drive & seeing as its cheap as well as powerful thats definatly gonna have me thinking about parting with my cold hard cash :)

decided to look locally to see if I could pick one up on the cheap, PC World Croydon "don't do any" & a local PC store wanted to charge me £100 for the drive :(

Your not the only one but I looked at that & then realised "better pay off the old credit card bill instead" :(

Heh, I'm buying one in my next pc :) Along with 2gb of ram, 400gb of hdd (array of 4 x 100gb drives to go with my current 115gb array). Also getting a 700 quid digital camera :D
