Anyone ever experienced SchoolDisco.Com ? Apparently they are holding an open air event in London and I am seriously thinking of recommending the London venue for a reunion of a few schoolmates of mine.

I forgot my schooldays about two weeks after I left. I really don't want to recall them now, twenty years later thanks. I had a message from that schoolfriends revisited website via my brother, but didn't respond. Its all history to me Im afraid.
I know some people do like it though, but why?

Some friends of mine have been to School Disco a couple of times and enjoyed it. An open-air version would be tops, imo.

A school reunion for me would be an event filled with both abject depression upon meeting all the people that went to Uni and actually did something with their lives and a complete belly up laughter session when seeing all the girls we used to fancy pushing prams and with a few extra pounds round their arses.

School sux, and most of my days there could easily be classified under a "Worst days of your life" thread, I have no wish in ever recollecting them or meeting 98% of the people who went there.

But if you go enjoy yerself :)

school sucked for me too, for me would be filled with bullying from teachers old school friends and seeing the girls that I fancied loaded with cash they made from the porn industry and prostitution, although I'd imagine the bullies would be escorted by prison guards who'd let them out for the day.

am i the only person that remotely enjoyed school!? and it was only about 7 years ago for me! :/

heh it's college that started my life down the road of manic-depressive :/

you are right about all the people going to uni though.... saying that... it's surprising how many of them dropped out.... several of the people who were doing better than me have resurfaced in llanelli... and that includes my sister's boyfriend... who now snaps little plastic bits onto the end of a cable in a production line for a few hundred quid a week.

i fucking LOL. :p

bitter? moi?

I hated school. I liked most of the kids I went to school with and we had a laugh, I just didn't enjoy the non-flexible nature of everything. Authority sucks. I was a right little bastard :)

Noooo, how can that be? But you're so... innocent. ;)

I hated school too, and it hated me. The people I want to keep in touch with (about 5, including 1 teacher) I have kept in touch with. So there is nothing left for me and no reason to ever go back to that hole in the ground. :)

No Suicide, you're just shit.

Aye, school was utterly awful. I have no idea how on Earth they didn't manage to expell me, even a measly 2 years on, looking back, I'm shocked at the stuff I got up to.

Strange how people from all different generations still have the same feelings for school disco's. The music must be so different from one to the next.

When I was at school it was all stuff like, Europe's Final Countdown, The House Martins, erm and other stuff that I cant remember (not sure why these two stick in me mind)
