Best Class to exp?........

Im think of giving alb ago and i was wondering whats the best class to level (ie quickly). What classes are needed in groups? what class alwasy seems to be in short supply etc etc.........
Im not to bothered to much about the 20-40 level's but more the dreaded 40-50 (i remember having to beg for Malmo groups with my Skald on Mid/Excal). Also whats a fun class to play in RvR, not a FotM class, but something thats easy to groups with.
Was think of a mincer but i hear the have trouble leveling due to sorcs having mana crack now, anyways feel free to give any opinions

Untrue tbh. I'd say the fastest you could *solo* a necro to 50 would be 6-7 days /played.

It's possible to get any character to lvl 50 in 3 days /played if they are relentlessly powerleveled all the way by multiple people. Some hibby did it shortly after SI was released if I remember rightly and it involved several people PLing the living daylights out of the character.

Reavers are fast soloers too ,esp after lev40 in Caldey and Gwyddenau.
Nowhere near 6 days though :/ (11.5 days)

40-50 is a lot easier in alb than at lair

just go to Avalon City, always some groups there and get a groupfriendly char, friar/pally/sorc/cleric/theurg/minstrel

and you'll get to 50 fast enough

......also, are pally's gimped in RvR or is that just rumour?

Necro, 50 in 4.5 - 6 days or so, all thigns considered.

Also you do not need multiple characters to PL a toon to 50 in ~3 days;necros can do it in three days, less if you're buffed

mincers get a dmg absorb so are still usefull to a group even if there is a sorc and can tank a bit

and pally's arent gimped in rvr they just dont do much dmg

My necro when hit lvl 50 got nearly 5 day played time ,solo.

But if you wanna a good char in RvR forget the necro.

A well played merc is very group friendly, in pbaoe groups for taunting, or normal groups for damage dealing, tbh a well played tank will be welcome in any group, i`m levelling my alt atm (another merc), he`s 47 and yet i`m still having to have d/t for end with a pally in the group, in some cases.

Plus we get some loving in the next patch, some of our styles get a much needed boost ,plus fumbles ( dirty tricks ) timer gets reduced to 7 minutes with some sort of debuff added.

Also a tip for soloing when groups are hard to find, check out mobs which drop xp items and if these can be found near claimed keeps, even more of a bonus if they are slash vulnerable, outpost bonus + items+maximum damage = some very fast xp`ing in most cases.

Follow the necro mob list, train deathsight, and go to your trainer only when you get a new powerdrain or lifedrain... /played at 50 will be at least 3.5 days to 6 depending on how much you die :uhoh:

There are very few active Earth Theurgists for a reason sadly, your offence is limited to a baseline ice nuke that has huge variance. Your CC is badly lacking, single target root will be resisted often and with resists your AE CC will have extremly low realworld timers. Earthies are long overdue some love, right now all they do atm is run PBT and damage buff every 10 mins. The PBT leaves them with so little power that after 3-4 nukes they are going oom.

Yup I used half a bar of mana once and manage to kill a spriggan with pet spam, not bad for a level 50 eh?
