Best Class/Spec To Solo?

Hi, after a couple of weeks playing a group char, i'm finding it pretty hard to find groups often. And i'd like to know which class (& spec) would be best for soloing?

So far i was thinking a summoning spirit master, but someone told me suppresion was best, even for solo so i dunno? And anyone have any ideas what other classes are good?

Well yeah Sm or Bonedancer are great for solo, also warriors/thanes IMO

bonedancer BA spec possibly
supp spec works well but takes an age to kill a mob if u wanna balance power consumption rates
dunno bout bone army spec havent tried it but i imagine it works well pve solo

summ spec SMs work well solo too but zzzz boring ;p

I think its fun to watch Steve (my pet) have several mobs hit themselfs to death on him.....but maby thats just me

Supp Bonedancer is the best solo PvE class i think. My Bonedancer is full bone army. I can solo red con's with some risk, but when i duo with a friend of mine (a full supp BD) im the first to die and he allways survive + I never use the archer fossil. It makes both pet's to run away all of a sudden. The fossil soldier don't do that.

So atleast go for that fossil healer at 18 supp spec pts.

Yeah, a class that gets DT every pull ever if the mob doesnt hit him, yeah pwnage solo class. :bore:

Basically when you group a supp bd is better. Did you read the question?

Supp BD has too high power consumption to be one of the best solo classes. Sure, they can solo reds usually, but prepare for a few mins downtime after it. And I don't think that the other specs are that great for soloing. They are still full of bugs.

Don't have any experience with summoning SM's, but I'm guessing that it will either be slow to kill the mobs (letting the spirit kill) or high downtime (using baseline nuke). Supp spec is probably a bit risky when soloing. After all, you have to be right next to the mob when you start pounding that pbae button. Not that great if it aggroes you. Don't know about downtime though.

You could go for a SM of my spec which is more balanced imo, even for soloing, the dark spec. Aim for 47 dark, 26 supp, 5 summ and you will be the jack of all trades at the same time as you can solo orange cons pretty easy. In fact I soloed my SM to 50. Don't think I grouped more than 4-5 levels total, and it wasn't even the last levels before 50.

warrior is pretty much best solo class imo at high lvls, since u keep your shield up to lvl u wont get hit alot by mobs
question is what will you do after 50
tanks are just meatshields and prepare to be one if u choose one

Summon Spec SM - arguably the best for pve soloing but pretty bad in rvr - Supp spec bonedancer is not as good v higher cons (though you cap on orange solo so no real reason most of the time) - supp spec BD's are much better in rvr so you might want to try that if you think you might want to try rvr at 50 at all

Its actually quite fast- not as fast as nuking em down but not much downtime either - its not the pet or base nukes that kill the mobs either - you just slap on the focus dam shield and they bash themselves to death on the pet - this is usefull as the pet doesnt generally hit much v higher cons but with the dam shield it doesnt need to - you can take a couple of mobs at once too.

I kinda like soloing zerker but maybe its just me

The good thing about that anyways is that endurance regens fast. Power regens slower thus casters have much more dt when soloing (without friendly healer nearby).
Hp regens pretty slow ofc but zerkers can kill pretty fast so dont need to loose much hp, finding a good place with the right kind of mobs with the right faction helps alot here).

Oh and always keep a good supply of throwing axes for pulling!

PS. The first two chars to ding 50 on prydwen was zerkers I believe. I guess that tells us something.
