Beserker spec noob query

Hi folks,

I'm currently a merc on prydwen, thinking about popping down to merry middy/excal - and was looking at the 'zerker class. Without needing to spend points on 2h-swords, - how gimped would a Norseman spec of 50 sword, 50 parry be (leaving 400 odd points left over <gulp>), and then use a nice big sword? Could swap the zerker for a warrior for this spec I realise - but I think dex plays a part in parry, and zerker's have dex have their secondary stat, plus evade III has got to be good. Besides which - don't you just find that chain chaffs somewhat?

spec 50LA, 50Axe, parry or 50Hammer, 50Axe, 28parry

kaay, zerkers have to spec Left Axe and a weapon:
Hammer [Crush dmg ]
Axe [Slash dmg ]
Sword [Slash dmg ]

So you'll need to spec Left Axe, Sword and Parry. L50 Norse zerker spec is 44 LA 44 Sword/Axe/Hammer and 44 parry
Troll zerker spec is 50 LA 50 Axe/hammer/sword and 28 parry.

imo spec Axe or Hammer, if u wanna keep ur spec even keep LA and ur weapon 2 below ur lvl and put rest in parry, or go full LA and weapon till later levels then spec parry.

Hmm. So your saying a two-handed sword + max parry isn't a viable spec in middy land? <crosses zerker of the list>.
