Beliathan in DF

I was messing around with the SC calc last night and came up with the most uberest of templates. :)
Problem is, it includes 2 Wormskin Wraps.
Has anyone killed Beliathan before? Does he spawn often and is he hard to kill?
How many people will it take to kill him? Is Wormskin Wrap a rare drop? Never seen any of them as i can remember.

Iv killed him.. all u need is a Ok fixed grp since u need to kill all Princes to get him to spawn.

Tbh i would remake the template, since i doubt we ever get back DF with the alb zerg around :-/

I saw a post on VN yesterday, where someone wanted an uber skald template using GoV, Malice, Scalars and SoM.
Since he hadn't made one himself first, only asked for a template, i thought i'd make him one with some really hard to get items. :p
Just to make it even harder, i included 2 of those bracers.

I kinda liked the template.

BC killed Beliathan with 1.5 -2 fg. From what i remember, and i am not 100% sure the mob hits for 600 dmg.
Better ask Bouh in game maybe he knows more infos about the setup and how hard the mob hits :)
PS: i am sure he didnt drop teh wrist when we killed him

theres 3 versions of wormskinwraps, so gl to him killing a rare mob for a rare drop that nobody ever attempts anymore :p

As i said, that's why i included 2 of them, cause i wanted the template to be damn hard to make. :D

wormskin wrap is not a rare mob rare drop
it is all doable with focus pulling and dropped every time i did it :) (bear in mind u wana get mcl3 maybe even raging power to have ur focus shield up all the time, if high enuff rr go juggernaught makes all the diff, had summoning mastery on my sm too so wa actually hitting the prices for ok dmg)

I also need that Wormskin Wrap for my SM .. But the possibilty of getting it is ZERO.
VERY nice bracer though .. and were probably not the only peeople who also want it.

Afaik, Beliathan spawn is independant of (not) killing of the Princes.
You will see a (blue) zone message "The halls of Drakness Falls rumble as something moves deep within" or smt similar as a sign that he popped.
He does depop I think after a certain amount of time.

i thought it was independant too, but was told otherwise in /gu so killed the princes anyway

We did not kill it on the raid i led cos he did not spawned after all 3 princes were down. We killed Legion instead.
I believe it's only a minor issue to build group which would be able to manage the mob (from what i've read i estimate he is approximately as hard as Jailor), the biggest problem is to find him up.

Yes he depops, no u dont need to kill princes first, and 1 decent fg can take him down....

The worm itself (if I may call it the worm, because that is what it is: a big slimy beast) is very easy, but tho himself is not any problem at all to take down. The problem is really his minions that he do spawn, they hit for just as much as him and it's not just 1 of them, it's many. Got bored, took a rvr group down in DF killing albs who mid had just taken DF from (long time ago now). FoP didn't exsist and power became an issue.

If you build the setup of the group around just the kill itself and not just drag a group down there, what happen to me, you should be able to kill it with 1 fg easily.
