You could use a VPN like Hide My Ass. Works for me with UK and US content and it has nodes for most countries. Edit - I've just had a look at the Nederland 1 site using Chrome with the Hola unblocker plugin and it seemed to work. Try that.

why would anyone want to do that? outside of certain programs on NL1 and NL3 the entirety of Dutch TV is bad to the point it comes off the scale

My wife is from the dutch part of Belgium she misses hearing people speak dutch + wants our son to hear dutch more often so he picks it up easier.

Use a friends ziggo/upc whatever account to stream online.
VPN's can be used aswell.
