So im running level 4 missions and I dont want to leave the system im in (high sec). I keep getting harrassed by a 3man russian corp. 2 of them are 5 month players, the other is 4 years.

They turn up and salvage my wreck so they turn red to me. There is only one other PvP'er in my corp, my RL mate. Me and him could take them but hes busy in RL for a few weeks.

My alliance dont want to war dec, so what are my options?

get into a better alliance, that one seems rather shit to me.

and especially the corp, if they are to selfish to not help a corp mate theres nothing in there for you.

/edit: carebears or not, you fucking help a corp mate thats being harrassed...

Ninjaing salvage is now a blinky offense? Shame :(.

What level is it - used to be that if someone went flashy then it was between you and him and corp mates couldn't get involved. If that's still the case can't wait for one of the n00bs to flash up and take them down on your own while the others sit around knowing if they join in they'll get concordeced?

(The above may prove I've not been playing for a while and it's all changed).

Its a corp of RL mates, an indy corp so leaving is out of the question.

If im in a fleet and they salvage my wreck, are they red to the whole fleet?

They are looting your wrecks to get you to agress , salvaging doesnt give aggro :D

Myself and afew mates bypassed all this pansying about by insuring 5 t1 dps torn ravens and landing on nightmares and cnr's with deadspace//faction fits with damage types we knew they wouldnt be tanking to straight up gank them in 2 volleys , sure we all got corned but we also got filthy rich :D

so tell your corp to switch alliance to one that actually cares about their members then...

People aren't gonna drop whatever they have in their hands to come help some random missionrunning in highsec, not like you can pop them without a dec.

Best bet is that you try to waste their time as much as possible by blowing up your own wrecks. That way they have no gain in following you around

Either that or move your missionrunning to a different system

WHat are they going to do? Its an indy alliance. Yes yes I know, we should find a different alliance, I know, I get your point and I understand it, but we are happy :D

Anyway, nm, my mate has come back from RL to help me :)

Just dont react , as someone said earlier just blow up your wrecks tbh , highsec wannabe pirates have a very short attention span , show them that you arent gonna play their game and they will quickly piss off , trying to fight back is just what they want , free war dec , and or something blinky to shoot w/o having to leave highsec in their beloved 1-2-3 ships :p

We had some guy doing it to our corp leader today. He's been harrassing for a couple of days. It seems there's nothing lowbies can do against old-timers. T'was ever thus.

He was demanding a ransom of 20m ISK. "Abandon all wrecks" worked - he left after trying it again.

Meh... our corp is getting creamed by supposedly "high"-security pirates. So much for CONCORD. :(

Don't undock. They will fuck off soon enough.

Yeah, starve them of what they desire (tears / smack). Login 23/7. Go to work, play TF2 or whatever passes as other entertainment, watch a movie. This will piss them off no end. Cloaking in space and not sitting in station will increase the frustration levels. 48 hours and they'll have fucked off.

The worst thing you can do is give them any sort of reaction.

The best thing you can do is to get out of high sec as soon as you can fly and fit a t1 bc with good fittings. Then look for a corp in say - CVA who are very low sp friendly and go live out in 0.0.

Trust me on this - high sec is more full of greifers than Null sec. As soon as you get over the pain factor of losing a ship if you get caught by a roaming gang you'll soon realise just how unsafe empire is.

In many respects you're much much safer in 0.0 with a good industrial/pvp alliance who will give you opportunities to experince more of the game.

Absolutely - afk logged in is a really funny way to piss them off. :)

Well needless to say, while CVA has the 0.0 experience they have little 0.0 assets these days. I'd rather join an alliance that's more established. Although living from POS is a charm in itself though
