Two people (maby the same guy) been begging money off me from Mjollnir's Fury and they must be the rudest begger ever, said "mi need 1g plzzzz" and the other said "5g now plz"

already told 2 members of there guild to tell them to stop it but ether they dident bother or they have a beg for gold campain.

Just wanted to say nerf beggers

Sure if they are unguilded and low lvl I give money but is someone comes up to you and sais "money now ffs!!!" im not to happy to give them money. and besids they are guilded.

had a lvl 3 or so pm'ing me "gold please!!! like 14 times when i explained that i wasent gonna give any coz his "question" sounded like a demand he reaplied "pig" and im like "well.. oink oink to u then.."

i have no problem giving away 10 or so gold to lowbies, but im also expecting them to ask polite.

same with buffs.. i refuse to buf someone that says B00fs plzzz!

Heh - I use that rule too and I think it works pretty effeciently to winnow the beggar scum chaff from the genuine new players

if someone ask me "give 5g now plzzzz" I would just play with him, starting to ask him things he have no idea about... like the item cap after 1.62 compared to blah blah blah blah blah ;p

begging for buffs is fun too... once when I passed by Fort Atla with my healer someone came up to me and said: "buff"... I ignored him, then he said "hey!!! buff me!"... answered: haha
then he started to say if I don't want to buff him he was going to report me to GOA for not buffing him when I was a buffing class... or something like that ;p

I tried it myself. Roleplay a request and 9 times out of 10 you'll get it. Handy hint for the dishonest little oiks out there

just say "why?", if they don't give a good reason...they don't get cash.

best 1 was when a lvl 4 asked me for a plat, and got really insulted when i gave him 1 gold.

h8 it also, heard some one on irc say that he made around 1p one day by begging, thats what pushed me over the edge, i just stoped giving gold to anyone(exept if i am in a realy good mood and the person that is begging is more than lvl 1).

i normally give some money but it all depends on how they ask it,if someone asks me 10s for a horseride or some money for armor he'll get it but i refuse to give money to those proffesionall beggers.

I wanna curse at them like there is no tomorow but im afraid they will report me for harassment or something

tbh ive seen like 4 people from Mjollnir's Fury begging the last few days and ive told some higher lvl people in there guild already. maby they just like begging from me cause they spam me in spanish

Hia I would like to add my bit.

I think that all beggers are no Noobs to the game.
Think of it , you play a new game and see allot of high lvl folks how is you reaction. Beg them for Gold? They are like Gods

When I was new to the game I did not even dare to ask for Gold.
I even had no clue how much cash is normal for what lvl.


Another consideration is, when you give a NooB cash arn't you spoiling their game because they have cash to buy weapons and armour for many levels.

Another one is you are nerfing their skills. Because they can afford everything at first you will create some RvR muppets and to be honest we got enough of them

(Still I always give coin if they look at me with those big eyes and thoose rags on and looking like paupers)
