Right lots of people asking this question.

When u install hl1108 it will ask u to do a survery, it will aslo ask u if u want to setup voice comms. Make sure u set up voice comms

When u install CS, u need to setup a bind for speaking, and hold it down to speak ingame (its not a toggle).

Cs retail I assume will ask u to setup during install as well.

I don't remember seeing an option for voice comms when I installed 1108. I saw the survey crap and ignored it. Does it do anything more than bind a key ? I bound that manually but I still can't use voice comms. I get an error mesage that it can't initialise something on connecting to a server :/

I'm so crap at things me


P.S. I can hear but not send so... Why does EVERYONE sound the same ?

One more thing. Why does the patch try to install to a \FAIL subdirectory ? :/
