I know this has probably been done to death but can all you regs tell me what classes/side you play on pls (as i'm about to do some buyz0ring).

The vast majority of us are playing as Vanu, but that's no reason to not try something else. You don't need to commit to solely one class, as when you get bored of being a medic, for instance, over the course of a few days you could swap your certs in, and become a death dealing MAX, or whatever specialty takes your fancy.

I've moved to NC, I'm a infiltrator/hacker called Rev.

I'm NC (Xtro), I'm in Deadmanwalking/Deady's outfit (BarrysSquad) and am a sniper/scout type/AMS deploying monkey.

/edit: I was originally VS but switched. NC so far are vastly superior on the organization front imho.

I went straight to NC and have been getting BR's with a MAX so that I can develop a real character. i.e not a walking death machine and nothing more.

That's the beauty of being able to "Forget" certifications.

As for certs, I have all my 4 chars with different certs, and I'm just trying out different combinations

Here's Akvavit.

Absolutely appalling kill figures, I know. But then, you don't kill much with a medical applicator, BANK or nano dispenser. Most of my kills have been up close and personal with a knife. I've healed a lot of people and fixed a lot of armour, though .

Current certs (after speccing out of med into combat engineering):

Engineering
Combat Engineering
Infil suit
AMS

I think I'll go reinforced next and then aim to get some more weaponry and vehicle certs.

Play VS leading the sovereign guard. Largely made up of new players, so very newbie friendly

Currently BR9, with Exosuit, Medium Assault, Special Assault, and Sunderer. Next thing to get is AMS.

I'm NC too, but i'm inbetween jobs at the moment, need to wait 24 hours to respec something so I can get a decent weapon. But at the moment I have..

BR10 with one point to spare, need 2 blocks to BR11

On topic: CR3 Command munkeh - Barrys Squad Leader (In name at least) Adv medic, med assault and reinforced. I also act as Deadys gunner (Like you didn't already know that).

Last night were getting Deady to cr2 for his second fat leg, after which i will prob go for my cr4 and then work someone else up the CR ranks

No one cares about you being a n00b mate. Its not rocket science to coin a phrase. The first things to get to grips with are getting around the place and finding your squad. The "look there's an enemy - blast him!" bit is pretty easy

Feel free to hassle me ingame if you need to ask anything mate.
