Depends on where you bought them? 99% of em suck from almost anywhere, so unless you got something from somewhere rare, it's a case of 'name place n pics' or it didn't happen ^^

I love the ones where they put onion in the patty

I prefer beef curtains

I stick my spam javelin in for extra meaty goodness!

the problem with steak is that it is too easy to fuck up, and eating out often gives mixed results. Minced beef is easy, if you like beef burgers try lamb burgers they are all kinds of awesome.

Also have you started on chicken and fish as well yet?

Tesco do really nice steaks in their butcher section (not the prepacked stuff) they are quite expensive but honest to god we haven't had such good steaks since we were in an argentinian steak house in Amsterdam and almost had a steakgasm right on the floor.

I was a veggie for pretty much all my life. Even as a kid i could not stand the taste of most meat.

I dont see myself eating massive amounts of meat now anyway, i really dont like pork products.... And chicken...no thanks

take it slow as you like mate. food is to be enjoyed you know. good luck putting some weight on :)

also, as said, go to a good steak house, like in the books and full of people. find the maitre, and explain your situation and ask him to do you a nice steak (not too big, mind). I'm sure s/he'll be thrilled to set you up something awesome, and you'll feel like your tongue just had an orgasm :)

depends entirely on how its made and by whom, spices enhance flavour, they should never take over. People that want food stupidly hot are mainly retards.

Very well put. Retard.

Really? So having food so hot that the only taste is the chillies serves what purpose? If you want to eat only heat jsut eat the chillies raw, don't ruin a good meal to do it.

To be fair, very hot food can work IF made properly.

Some dishes work, but for example beefyburgers with so much chillies does not.

I'm talking ridiculously hot toht, where the only flavour is the chilli and it overpowers all else.

Yeah i know, but there are foods that pull it off.

The case there is the texture of the food and the, as i like to call it; "nutrition-effect".

Nutrition-effect being the feeling you get after you eat certain items.

Like energy after meat etc.

If you work your way up, the extra heat adds to the overall flavour.
