He has captained england 4 times under swen and has won 4 matches. As long as he keeps winning and helps England win the world cup, European cup, Cuppa de Gallaxy and Champion Cup of the unverse you will all be happy. He is thick but so is Gazza, yet Gazza was every ones mate cuz he was a " lager drinking beerbellied fat toss pot".
He is successfull, a pretty good player, has loads of money and plays for Man united a team suported and hated by most.
How he wears his hair is a moot point.
Alan smith is a skin head in England team and plays like a cunt, at least Beckham plays without biting and kicking and spitting tat people that much.

The sending off was harsh.
England lost on penalties, no one really had a go at Batty missing the shot, but everyone had a go at Beckham for being sent off. England wouldn't have done wellin that tournment anyway as I had them in a sweep stake so I knew they would do shit.

Apart from crossing the ball, wtf else can he do? He can't tackle, head the ball or volley. People go on about him being the 'master' of free kicks, yet i would be very interested to find out what percentage of his free kicks actually hit the back of the net.
Very few i reckon.

As I said a pretty good player. Not the best in the world.
He crosses well in open play and creats goal scoring chances and he is also a good passer something that a lot of other players dont and cant do well. SO on the right he does his job really well.
He works hard for his team. In a football seminar in Asia Beckham was used as an example when comapring stamina and fitness of european players to Asian players. Beckham millage per game was the highest in the champion league competition at an average of over 9 miles i think it was. So not only does he create he also works hard for his team, (I am aware of headless chickne runing analogy and not being able to tackle but he will be at the back as an extra man).
Ultimately I think most fantasy football scores will show he scored the highest or very high as a midfielder.
No other player of that calss will work that hard for their team, watch Figo play more ability but less hard working. So what Beakham lacks he makes up by hard work.

Errr, run the entire length of the field about a million times per game? His work rate is amazing. He can tackle (albeit he's no David Batty), he can pass the ball better than almost anyone in the world (I challenge you to find 10 players better at passing over long distances than he), he can defend, and he's starting to take the ball past people. No matter what you say, Beckham is a technically excellent player who is very consistent.
He scored more free kicks in the premiership than anyone else (in goalswise and percentage wise). I think that speaks for itself.
