They've amended it to 24.5 mil.

Don't know what the dirty mancs are worrying about - he's been shit all season anyway.

A good spell on the bench at Real will hopefully get his lazy ass working for England again :)

Was he ever good? :)

He is overated and I fear that we shall now be having more updates of what he is doing than when he was at Man Ure :wall:

Quelle surprise!

Which means Ronaldinho will probably go to United now... although he's been doing a bit of bridge-burning in the past 48 hours (nice timing!), and Inter/Barca are apparently interested, so that's still open I guess.

Like Bodhi once said

"He'll give Mcmanaman someone to talk to when he's sitting on the bench all season"

That seems the general view from Man Ure fans. I was listening to Talksport this morn on the way to work and they all had the same view.

Its only the media and the prawn sarnie of Old Trampford brigade that are saying Fergie is out of order etc etc

I think Becks is either going to end up chatting to Macca on the bench of discover the best form of his career and Man Utd will kick themselves for letting him go, I can't see an intermediate between the two extremes really.

Best of luck to the guy.

lol

Do you honestly think he will settle for less than first team football? It will be expressly written in his contract.

And overrated - well if any of you can find reason to critisise Ferguson on playing him in nearly every premiership and European match for the last 5 years, well, go ahead.

Doesn't matter if he likes it or not.

Actually - he's been on the bench quite a lot at ManUre this season.

Anyone remember the "Champions" League clash against Real then? Didn't come on until late then did he......

He's the worlds best crosser and arguably the worlds best free-kick taker (maybe) - but apart from that there's "bugger" and "all" to his game. (Or there has been for the past two seasons).

And why call it Man Ure? Just because they didn't win the Worthless cup like Liverpool.

He aint taking the piss Tom, he just cant spell because
edit: removed piss poor jokes about stolen english text books due to un-fair regional stereotyping

:p

Pretty much agree with the above description, he's the best crosser there is and will be missed for just that reason, he creates so many goals.

I'm hoping that his leaving will at least let that Argy lass (Veronica something) improve his game through regular football. Man Utd have changed a lot in the past 10 years the only constant being that the the jealous bastards from Leeds and Liverpool have had lots to get wound up about :D

Man Ure ha ha ha its better!

Yeh Beckham is a grafter and takes great dead balls and crosses but his life now has become a circus and Fergie cannot have a player who loves himself being in the dressing room. Fergie is the man when it comes to that. Ince! He was sent packing as he thought he was the guvnor!

Well done fergie and I gaurentee Man Ure will be better off next season for it :(

The ABU (Anyone But United - ie people who 'hate' United, mainly because they're desperately jealous) crowd have called it that for years. In fact it's so old, it's oldé.

Shamelessly hacked from BBC sports site, a selection of Spanish phrases that David may find useful:

"Can you tell me if there is a Harvey Nichols round here?"
"¿Me puede decir si hay un Harvey Nichols por aquí?"

"250 Euros for a t-shirt? Yes, that's fine."
"250 Euros por una camiseta? Me la llevo."

"Excuse me, Mr Del Bosque - can I play in the middle?"
"¿Perdone, Señor del Bosque - puedo jugar en el centro?"

"I meant with the first team, not the reserves."
"Quería decir con el primer equipo, no los suplentes."

"What do you mean, 'Raul'? Don't you have surname?"
"¿Cómo dices, "Raul"? No tienes apellido?"

"Hey Roberto/Luis/Zinedine - isn't it my turn to take a free-kick?"
"¿Oye Roberto/Luís/Zinedine - no es mi turno para tirar la falta?"

"I would like a haircut that makes me look like Jeff Bridges in 'The Fisher King', please."
"Quiero un corte que me haga parecer a Jeff Bridges en 'El Rey Pescador', por favor."

"I'm not sure. I'd better ask my wife."
"No estoy seguro. Tendré que preguntarle a mi mujer."

"My wife was a member of the Spice Girls."
"Mi mujer era una Spice Girl."

"No, the Macarena was by Los Del Rio."
"No, la Macarena fue de Los Del Rio."

"No, the Ketchup Song was by Las Ketchup."
"No, Asereje fue hecha por Las Ketchup."
