hay nice animation there, i liked the way the styles changed as he got older.

lovely to watch but i couldnt help comparing it to my life as i was watching it and waiting for the bit where it shows one of them trying to run a bath and the tap coming off in their hand...or finding a maggot in their water glass.

life is 'mostly' beautiful, sometimes painful and the remainder is a mixture between comedy and wierdness. At least, mine is anyway lol.

if only everybody felt like you then we'd all be truly fucked.

isnt it what you are here for, to make a future generation, or does that stop you playing whatever singular game you play atm.

"go outside sometimes"
if you ride a horse through fields in your game, go and do it in real life, i really liked that short film, the music was really good as well, good job well done.

Was our job back in time where we would benefit from having a larger population. Surely it's a good thing now though as we're reaching a stage whereby overcrowding is starting to bite us in the ass...

Ok, so because I place myself over something that doesn't exist (i.e. my children) that makes me a selfish person??? That means everytime I buy icecream for me when I'm alone I'm being selfish cause in theory there might be someone with me....ahhh yer, sounds totally logical.

Second you're stupid to assume that I sit in my room playing games all day long. I'm not so much into riding tbh, but I do in fact have a private life that goes beyond my screens.

This also isn't about going on to play a game or whatever. I have two jobs and a girlfriend, so there's enough to "stop me playing whatever singular game I play atm." Shocker. No, I'm not here to make a future generation that will live on an overcrowded planet full of shit, environmental chaos, violence and unemployment. I'm trying to live my life in a way to NOT have the planet turn this way, but I kinda have the feeling it won't help much.

So what, I don't like children. Is that a big deal? What about removing the stick from your ass and realize that my comment was meant to be funny in the first place. If other people want children, easy. I'm not stopping anyone from drowning in short sleep, baby changing and pubertal beviour later on. (oh damn, was that too cynical for you again?). Now before you start with the old blabla that I was once a child aswell, let me tell you this: It wasn't really MY choice to be born, aye? It was what my parents wanted and well, so they had to deal with it. Ohh how fucked up I am, sorry, but that's the very objective point of view about the whole thing and it doesn't mean either of us didn't enjoy it. Oh and another sidenote, I once told my mother exactly that and she took it rather funny aswell...

You can have five children if you want, or ten or twenty, I don't care at all, but don't come whining at me for not wanting any. Yer I know, who will pay my pension then. Well, all I can say to that is HAHAHAHAHHA...pension...HA HAHAHA...

So overall I assume that being a bad father who can't handle his children would be better than not having any at all? Sounds good to me, just I wouldn't like to breed a bunch of chavs, so sorry for that.

Oh and Thorwyn, sorry ^^ I just realized that what I wrote could be taken otherwise =) I curse too much, really :< It's like when I speak German, it's all "das verdammt Ding" "das verdammte/scheiß X, Y etc. etc." haha =)

You hate children ? There's something wrong with you.

They make noise and a lot are idiots. Every time I pass by my old school it's getting worse.

Boring video

I love children, I'm truly looking forward until I get to raise up my own.

And the world isn't overpopulated because we're breeding too much. It's because we're trying to fight death.

QFT

It's not like I'm saying that I want to go around being a child murderer or anything, just that if I ever did want kids, I would adopt, rather than have any of my own. Is that so selfish? to want to help kids that don't have anything, rather than just care about some because they have some of your DNA in them?

cool vid though ^_^

hehehe yeah people are always surprised when i say i dont want kids because im so good with them and i actually really do like them, the well behaved ones anyway (did my first solo toddler tales story time at the library today btw \o/) but i rationalise it like this "well i really also like crocodiles but tbh i wouldn't want one of them"

the usual reaction is aaah you wait, you'll change...err? I am always a bit miffed at this assumption that i don't know my own mind. I have told B2 that i dont want them, I actually told him when we very first started dating because i didn't want that awful thing of being a couple for years then him buggering off becasue he wants kids and i don't so i laid it on the line right away and said if you want kids then get out now matey.

i can understand people not liking kids...i cant understand people not liking animals though i mean imo animals pwn kids (except this one little baby that comes in my library, he looks like a minature carey grant sort of peers at me then does a drunken little smile, he rocks!).

Well unless you want to be working till the time you're 95 - children are a very good thing! ^^

Depends if you wished to be remembered in a long term sort of way... if you don't have kids you won't continue your bloodline. I mean look at all the chavs and how many kids they're having... at this rate 90% of the population will be chavs by next year.

So get fucking.

Who knows your next kid could be the albert einstein of quantum mechanics, and could revolutionise modern physics. At least then you will have contributed something to society than what your meanlingless life has done so far.

Bloodline means sh*t all unless you've got supergenes.

Otherwise it's just blood of blood of blood. Nothing special about it.

About "you're selfish for hating kids" etc... Well, it's selfish to get a kid. Point blank and straight from the hip, selfish. There's nothing unselfish about it. Prove me wrong, i'm actually hoping someone would.

Adoption is the way to go, and has actually unselfish qualities. Since there's so many kids out there with nothing, why make your own and leave others to suffer, simply because they are not your blood.

I "dislike" kids also, not that i can't stand them, just that anything under 6 is useless.

Oh and, if you don't want kids, why should you get some? It's not a "must", we're not a dying breed, and to be honest, if not having kids makes you a selfish whatnot, then those who think that, must really hate gays.

Actually no. The system isn't working well already so unless you do something for your own pension, you'll live in misery.

I don't care about my bloodline, but the chav argument is something to consider. But then again: None of my bloddline there => #nocare for chavs anymore :p

The same argument counts for the Einstein thing, though ^^

adoption is actuall something i would consider and have offered it to B2 as an alternative, along with him finding surragate oven to go stick his bun in. I really dont want kids beause they might turn out like the people i am related to *shudder* and that would be hideous, also the thought of childbirth scares the crap out of me, the thought of being responsible for another person for the rest of your/their life is also terrifying and i also told b2 if it ever by some grotesque turn of fate happened he would have to give up his job and raise it because i dont want to be doing any of that nose wiping, toilet training, personal hygene teaching stuff tbh.

however, he wants his own if he had any at all, said the whole stupid blood line thing and so thats the end of that one lol.

i honestly think if your not willing to adopt your not fit to be a parent (look at those beasts who have IVF up to their 60s because they want their own baby, i mean honestly!

The system doesn't do well because it can't.

Rising standards of living that are massively above inflation. If the govt. want to increase the pensions to the rising standard of living, they will have a massive increase in public spending, which goes against Gordon's Golden Rule in the long run, and ofcourse more public spending when they want to cut it = bad for voter confidence - it's a no-win situation.

Besides, less children simply means we have less replacing those who are getting old. Although migration is having a fundamental impact on our economy, in terms of bringing in juicy working-age people, with I.D cards and anger towards the levels of immigration, it's only time before our govt. limit it drastically and we find ourselves with a problem:

a massively high dependency ratio.

Not to say it already isn't high - undoubtedly it is - hence a planned increase in the retirement rate is due. But less workers means less Aggregate supply (providing technology doesn't harshly make an improvement) which means two things: more inflation and chances of recession/decline. Japan (or was it China) kind of had the same problem - research the damage it caused - not nice at all.

Basically, we need the replacement rate of, I believe 2.2? to ensure that this country does not encounter worse problems than the world market is currently giving it.

God damn - geography and economics a-levels work so well together! ^^

Yer, it's true that the gvt. can't simply raise pensions, nothing to argue there. That's exactly what I said: If you want something when you're old, you better do something yourself.

You're right on the immigration thing aswell, but that doesn't change the point that I don't care at all about what happens to this planet once I die and it doesn't change the fact that I do not want children because I don't like them and I don't think I could handle them properly. I wanna save this planet some more chavs, I wanna save eventual children the crap of seeing their own planet being destroyed AND I wanna save myself the hassle of having children, I like a relaxed life.

Thing is, you can't force people to have children and unless they develop a thing where you put in a baby and get out a reasonable 16y old person, the process of bringing up a child will remain unattractive for a lot of people. Small children make noise and are totally helpless, followed by a stage of doing whatever they want, great. Trust me, I know what I'm talking about cause I was a pretty "energy loaded" child aswell. I did all kinds of stuff that would make me crazy now and hell I would understand my parents if they had wished to turn back time then :p It's all fine now though, but hey, this took like 14y ^^

The thing is, common sense would work even better.

When politicians get the pay of 12 average people/year, you know somethings f*cked up right there.

While on the other hand, single mothers, especially nurses/teachers/etc, can't do sh*t all because the goverment thinks they "are doing fine enough".

F*ck that.

give nurses half the doctors pay, as they do 75% of the work.
Give teachers half the politicians pay, as they create politicians, doctors, everyone.

Higher pay for policemen and women too please? ;)
