Keep fluids up and take paracetamol at the dosage intervals. I also take decongestants to keep my throat and nose clear.

Once it takes hold, then theres nothing you can do about it.

I just tend to fail miserably and get ill. Currently trying to cure myself by drinking whisky.

I'd imagine alcohol helps but w/o enough liquids and vit c it will just make the problem worse by dehydrating you

Interesting - thats how childrens immune systems tackle viruses - they get feverishly hot in order to try killing the virus that way.

Adults obviously rely more on the white blood cells - maybe by combining both you become a super immune system ?

If I feel something starting usually use a multivitamin tablet each day, with the correct dosage of nerofen if a headache occurs and drink tons of water, seems to help alot.

whenver i know ones coming i make myself quite hot to the point im literally dripping important to keep fluids up and food tho or you can make yourself ill.

Why suffer a week being sick needlessly and ignoring it also leads to a chance of just getting reinfected straight away again.

I didn't catch it myself some other gimp brought it into the house as bloody always

I've tried this beating a cold early stuff, all that seems to happen is you feel better for a couple of days then the cold comes back, and last forever.

Better off getting it out (of your nose ) early on
