Copied and pasted from a recent VN cleric forum posting - If any of it is incorrect please post up and dont blame me cos im a dumb tank :p

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

Baseline buffs cap at 1.25 x the level of the person being buffed, or 62 points of bonus for a level 50.

Spec buffs cap at 1.875 x the level of the person being buffed, or 93 points of bonus for a level 50.

Assume 25% toa buff bonus:

46 enh is enough to cap all stat buffs, but not enough to get all red resist/heal proc buffs.

This spec precludes 30 rej and thus, no spread heal on that cleric.

44 enh is enough to cap all stat buffs (red spec AF too) except 5 points out of str/con

(the yellow version gives 88 points with 25% buff gear).

This spec also allows for 30 rejuve which is enough for spread heal and reasonably playable RvR cleric.

42 enh gives eveyrthing but 5 pts of str/con and only gives yellow spec AF, which is somewhat variable

since AF doesn't cap normally because it's benefit is related to the armor type of the person receiving the buff.

40 enh gives yellow dex/qui which will cap at 93, yellow spec AF, yellow str/con, and yellow acuity.

The amount of buff bonus allowed is equal to the level of the cleric that is buffing/2.

Thus, 25% is max for a level 50 cleric.

It is impossible to cap the acuity buff since the RA Mastery of the Arcane was removed.

The best you can do on that buff is with 42 enh +25% buff gear which gives 81 points of int, bot or not,

that's the cap.

With 25% buff bonus gear, your yellow str and dex base buffs will also cap, enabling you to save a few

points of concentration and put out a few more buffs becuase you didn't have to use the red ones.

You will need to use the red base con buff however to cap.

Base AF... don't really bother imo, it only makes up the difference in AF between what your current

gear is and what your AF would be if it was all MP. If you have ToA AF bonuses on your equipment,

but only 99 qual armor, chances are good that the base AF buff will have no benefit whatsoever,

cast it and see - except on a necro pet on which it should always have some positive benefit.

Final note: spec AF does nothing for a necro pet's absorb. If you're going to buff a necro pet,

there is no cap on the amount that stat buffs can augment the necro pet's absorb,

so red is always better than yellow on them.

46enhance to max (can't cap acuity and AF, ofc) all stat buffs with 25% +buffs - only need purp con, int and str/con - rest yellow... pre-patch you only needed 44enh for the same effect.
50enhance will max all but int and AF using purps with 8% +buffs (you still gain int and AF all the way to 25% +buffs).

acuity would cap with 42enh, 25% +buffs and MotArcane5 pre-patch (+93 int).
spec AF wouldn't cap pre-patch either.
