Battler on toast

i would like to get battler but im unsure on how to do it. im reading visoinofsages at the moment but some of you guys have probably done this and it would be nice to know a few tips you have

Uhm... It's a pure melee mob, so just get yerself a fg and tank him. 1 shieldtank should do it, but maybe get 2 so they can block each other. Everytime someone dies before him, he get's stronger, so don't die. Oh, and you can't taunt him. Once he figures he wanna kill someone, he will do it, so it's about kiting alot of one of the healers will get aggro of him.

yeah i read about the bard who kites the mob while ppl hit it but surely the mob will pwn the bard while he is running?

have some1 cast bt on the one kiting and some stlong healers it shouldnt be a problem

1 paladin 1 cleric with FoP 1 random nice pve class shieldtank/petspammer/lighttank

Surely battler wont aggro the fop and wipe that grp, tried it once, cleric died right away.

Kite him, use snare/Stun styles giving the Kiter some range.

1 ani + fop could kill him in 12 seconds before patch.. I counted

as far as he knows he out runs sprint now :< so theres no more kiting :< get 2 warriors/armsmans/LUWI HEROS! cross guarding and sum big dmgers (2), a pbt, 2 main healers and 1 buffer. fops nice

i did it with 4 animists FOP and an earth theurg. if you get 2 ppl to die to battler he becomes 2 level's higher but is now able to be hurt by magic. he died in about 12 seconds lol
