Battlefield 2 Problem

Lo lads/lasses erm... i've just bought bf2 (yes i know its been out for ages now but i just didn't get around to buying it then) anyway! i've installed it all and such... when i get into the game sometimes it sort of locks up when i try it move.... it just makes my character continuously run in one direction...... mouse doesn't respond either does any of the movement/crouch keys etc... the only key that responds when it does this is the "esc" key to take me to the menu screen :/ anyone got any ideas?



Edit: when this lock happens the game remains perfectly fine... like the server doesn't freeze etc

100% sure :/ i use W.S.A.D movement setup and all reload keys etc are over that side :/ my chat keys are J.K.L :/ i'll go try that tho just incase on the complete off chance i have

You can press 'w' or your up key, and then your chat key, and it makes you automatically go forwards (or whatever direction). I don't know if it's a bug, but it can be quite useful in the larger maps
