Good fight there mids, was a nice drawn out fight as everyone seemed to have forgot the rams That actually made it more fun as battle dragged along. Well played, them catapults seemed to be piled up. Trying to make a second tower?

The battle dragged on but albs were victorious in the end, you can beat us down but in the end we will be victorious.

Good work all on both sides and hope your cg didnt have as much whining in it as ours did at times

yeah was alot of fun. My last count was 11 trebuchets, and I alone had used some 130+ stones, while I heard others used over 300, you do the math

surprised we hadn't buried the albs in all that rock

those are the only 2 options it seems. you decide which one u'd rather face, but im sure u'd whine at either.

I think Eynar would prefer Albs to run up 1-2 fg at a time and sit down allowing the mids a nice steady flow of RPs with no risk.

Taking a keep invites the zerg. Don't take them unless you're prepared to deal with that. When was the last time mids retook a keep with less than 50 people?

Guys forget the whiners let us instead enjoy the massive fight we had
I used more then 400 arrows on Gwynneth, loads of fun
anyway a fight of biblical proportions hope to do it again some time soon.Actually there wasnt really any whineing in our cg more like "LOL 130 albs on beno"

RvR was dead and getting albs out was the goal.
HW became center of rvr after so many nights in emain and Odins now. It included large numbers from both sides and it was fun.
Next time I remember to run 4 caster to Beno and swap from mele team to caster team

Had a great night, started off with Valour getting Berks then us grabbing Beno, went on a huge trek around Albion grabbing more keeps as we went and ended up with that great fight at Beno
Loadsa fun, cheers to both Mids and Albs turning up to make it an eventful night.

Indeed, was a great fight. I ran out of arrows at one point. Had to borrow them from another hunter.

Very messy arangement of trebs if you ask me. No self respecting albs would build that many trebs and not line them up.

Was a good fun fight well done.

I think the lack of rams was due to all the others being used hitting earlier keeps , only for mid zerg to wipe us at open gates.

Gates at Surs closed trapping a few albs in between , i used my ram to try to break out just for a change. Unsuccesful tho, i was aoed to death along with the others.

Thanks from me to Rowana , Bechu (desdecado) and Acietha who formed a 4 person group with me. Trouble was with 3 stealthers in group i spent half the night running around trying to find them cos they stealthed

Was much of fun, whole evening.
The Enhärjarna and Valour keep raids, which were same time, different target purely by change, they didn't even know about each other at first, must've got it going from the start.
Soon after Beno and Berk were taken, 91 albs appeared to attack Berk.
We barely made it to defence of Berk in time and many of the Albs were indeed wiped at Lord

After that albs gave up for while and we just had to go and take more keeps then, after we took Hurbury, 130 Albs attacked Berk and also 30 attacked Surs which we had taken recently.
We wiped the Albs at Surs and since Berk fell so fast, we decided to wait there.

Albs didn't seem to be moving from Berk very soon and we spent much time thinking where they'd go next and where we'd want to be then but then we decided to move to Beno, and good thing we did too

Had much fun defending Beno, mostly trying to keep stealthers out (who were coming up almost faster than I could uncover them). And the albs could stealth up but I couldn't do that on battlements because of all the GTAE they kept shooting near the climb point

I say again, good fun and very entertaining, whole evening

Stop whining about 120 albs retaking their keeps - no realm (besides Hib, as they normally dont have that many people - maybe it will change when all the /level 30s are 50) can exclude itself from that.

The first time ever my guilsd took a keep (Arvakr) some months ago we were sitting inside with about 14 people (and another fg of another guild running around outside) when we got the info of our guards being killed by 87 enemies...well guys...just stop whining. Retaking a keep will never be an 8 vs. 8. And Mids never ever zerg (wonder what killed me last week - was ist the AEs, was it the 5 savages hitting my little Cleric or the rest of the army with 50 Trolsl stomping over me ?) as we know

I think it's pretty pointless to talk about numbers on keep and relic actions.
It's also a fact that attackers do need higher numbers. I'd remind that some 5-6 FG of Mids beat 11 FG of Albs at Berk (really close one) the same evening on the Albs' first try on our keep.
It's easier to get people to follow plan against the odds if you're the realm with lower numbers. It's very hard to get keep retake force to follow some plan which would indeed need to be followed 100% as planned if retakers wanted to take keep defended by equal numbers. And they still would probably lose if defenders also had some kind of plans.
And there was alot of Mids at Beno that night. With some 10-20 more Mids, the Albs might had even lost the final fight.
I don't have much knowledge about that fight personally though, I was getting bit bored at uncovering them stealthers and went down to try and kill two casters. I got one of them but then I got 10 Albs on me and ahem didn't manage to climb down the wall
Pretty embarassing I know <makes mental note to practise this secretly>

Anyway to get back to the post topic:
I don't know how serious people are when they say things about the numbers on events like this, you can bet I'm not going all happy happy joy joy when I get killed by 23 Infiltrators defending keep with two other mids against 60 Albs (done that) but it's all part of the game so I let it go and perhaps arrange something nasty for their keeps soon again

Everyone is of course allowed (and expected) opinion and it's nice to read about them, this is mine.

For me, bring on them Zergs anytime we go raiding, would be bored without.
