argh - my free xbox games came through today and i got 2 copies of bloodwake. i ordered that and fuzion frenzy, neither of which are exactly good, cos none of my mates had them already. 2 of the same game in the box smacks of idiocy though.

I swapped Amped last week - was decent enough but I was TOTAL shit at it lol. Got SSX Tricky atm, sloppy conversion but decent enough game.

Amped is well cool, it's the most played game on my xbox anyway... ripping your own music & playing that r0x0rs !! Halo is over-rated as far as I'm concerned...

played the demo of Amped... it sux large... SSX/Tricky is the ONLY snowboarding game for me.... everything else is too serious.

I really, really dont see the facsination with Halo.Its nothing special, the controls are over-complex for a game controller, the graphics are nothing special. All in all on an actuall PC and online this game would be okay, it still wouldnt be great. Hype sucks.

graphics are nothing special?? you havent got the right equipment to play it with then. It certainly becomes noticeable how good the graphics are on a 32" widescreen. And when u have surround sound it is the business.

I suggest u buy the latest edition of Official X-Box magazine.. its amazing how many little graphical touches it has, For Example-(Taken from the book) -

"This is amazing. A Loving touch so subtle that we only noticed it very recently. Playing through the assualt on the control room levels again, we saw that the smoke trail left by the cannon fire blew to the left. To test it, we turned the tank around so it faced the opposite direction, so that if the wind was there the trail would be blown from left to right. the graphics are nothing special yet the game could not run on gamecube and ps2 combined..... hmmmm.

Nope sorry, I have played it a few times at a friends house. I was niether awe struck or amazed, his TV was fine and he had surround sound. I must be missing something? Or maybe I'm not a sucker for hype.

Halo is very good for what it is. However, were it released on PC in its current form it would be nothing but average.

Blood Wake is poor.
