Ok, need some advise here.

I go on a commercial college in Denmark, we are 3 casual players of DAoC in my class and 1 who tried it for some months.

I got a CC, none of the other casuals do.

So, I pay for them, np, I get money in hand, go home and pay for them, never been a problem there.

Now, the 1 who tried it for a few months found out his account should have ran out (he quitted like 2 weeks ago), and found out it was on auto-renew (GOA thingy made that go into ACTIVATED, dunno how)

It was way overdue, 2 times it have auto-renewed, well, shit happens, I know.

Now the guy shows out to be a fucking asshole, and won't give me the money, as he sais he stopped playing now, so he don't wanna pay (how mature way of acting )

But, see, I'm a non-violent person (IRL ), so I got 2 options, prefering option 1, but dunno if it will work:

Option 1:
Contack bank
Withdraw the 2 payments on the assholes account.
Let them find him through personal info
Let him pay that way and get trouble.

Now, would that work?

Or will they come to me because it is my CC that has been used?
Do GOA have any chance to find me and just because I'm the payer or will they only be able to find him?

Plz, help is strongly needed...

If it was really a autorenew insident neither you or him should pay. Contact your bank and explain to them what happened and block payment for the specific charge of your CC.
Let GoA pay for their "bug".

On the other hand if it wasn't a autorenew insident you should pay for it just as a lesson of how to handle your CC, and a lesson of not trusting others with your money.

I didn't select auto-renew, I selected ONE MONTH PAYMENT, so then it claccify as a auto-renew-bug?

It had run out before I payed, didn't pay within a running period, wich should be the way to activated auto-renew....

What worried me is the fact that I read about someone who had his chars deleted because he by accident recalled his payment, not knowing wannado = goa-payment, so is their any chance I might end up getting chars deleted on my 2 accounts and the 2 other m8s accounts?

afaik, there isn't a 'one month payment' option but several subscription methods,

each subscription method charges your bank for the amount of play time of your choice. And at the end of 1/3/6/12 months it will auto-renew until YOU cancel your subscription.

so if you wanted to play for one month, you would sign up for 1 month subscription, then after payment has been made, you log into subscription section to terminate auto-renewal- this in which your account will close when your paid time runs out

Of course, it is advised that you do not pay for any other account but your own- even if hes the trustworthy sort

how I could avoid noticing him still being able to play after so long time: Dunno his names ingame as he played contantly new alts...

but still, you should always be aware of your subscription section and what is happening around your subscription. Deal was I get money for 1 month (or whatever period they wanted), i get sub-pass, I pay, I delete sub-pass......

And was their job to check they got what they paid for aka he should know if it was on auto-renew (my m8)...

And don't mistake it as I want to give GOA the problem, I accually would rather see my "friend" end up paying...

EDIT: And NO, it is GOA's fault, as if you go and buy applejuice, get home and find out it is full of orangejuice, it is the firms fault and not yours, at the end of the day....

Dificult to say really, they might or they might not, one thing is for sure they can if they want.

They reserve the right to end any account any time they want, as all accounts are actually theirs. Anyone playing the game has agreed to it so in theory they can take actions on all accounts that where payed with your CC.

I would suggest if you are to block the payment for that invoice you should also change the CC that is used for payment on alll accounts, i have no idea if this would actually help but it might as in theory i think they are not supposed to store your CC number and personal info. Obviously i have to make it clear that i don't have actuall knowledge of what i just said its nothing more than a thought.

Nvm then, will just fucking make my "friend" pay for the subscription period, might have to "call his dad" or sumit, but well, better than doing that wich might not be fair to GOA, in my first thought, I figured GOA would just demand money from my m8, but seeing replies etc, it seems very clear they won't be able to do that...
