Base hits + con/buffs =? lol

Whats the formula for working out hits including buffs con etc
char has base hits of 740 in template i got 94 con +400 hits say and buffed
?? i kow con must have some kind of calc any explanation be appreciated want to know my hits if i go with template :D

I'm not really answering your question, but just throwing in another thing to consider, which I think is true. +hits do not affect the amount of dmg you take, but I think higher con actually decreases the dmg you take by some (very small?) amount. Someone correct me if I am wrong? If true, in some situations it may be better to go for higher con cap (+con. ofc) instead of +hits.

depends on what race you are, but 1point of con = 2-4hp depends on race and class, most casters get 2hp/point of con, most heavy tanks gets 3.5-4hp/point of con.


and to answer your question pemp, CON wont make you take less damage, the only way of reducing dmg is by resists and absorb factor on your armor and ofcourse procs/abilities ingame

A hard question to answer. Ive tried to work this out myself, but it seems to vary given class, and hps are affected by con and even that relationship isnt linear.

Ive never been convinced con affects anything much besides hits, though I wouldnt bet my elf ass on it.

Only advice I can give with any certainty is that investing in hps is almost always better than investing in con for the return (both in rskillpoints and UV value in SC). Thus imho high hp templates rule, and aug toughness > aug con.

actualy it does make sense i wondered if it was better to sc as much hits as pos and go for augs for increasing con etc as apposed to going for high con and aug conning
