Hi i need help...
i wanted to know wich beta the barrysworld urban terror servers are running can someone help me?:(

the BW Urban Terror servers have seemed to dissappear on Gamespy:mad:

yeah i know but q3 "says"
server uses protocol version 48 and hangs up :(
on which Q3 Point Release are BW's server running?

there using point release 1.27 still as 1.29 is still currently beta.

i have booked a server, but there is a failure message...
can someone tell me wich bookable server ist running with 1.29 beta?

RE: correct setup

This should be the correct way to install it, a friend told me and it works immediately!

From afresh (as in not even having the game installed), install Quake 3.

Once installed , either

a) Install the 1.27g update patch

or

b) Install Team Arean 3 (if owned). This will update the version to 1.27g also.

Once those steps are done, download the UTversion 2.0 patch from

ftp://ftp.barrysworld.com/pub/games/quake3/

plus also get the new 2.3 patch as well.

Once obtained, if you examine the UT2v2 zip file there is a folder in there. Extract that folder to the Quake 3 directory (normally C:\program files\quake arena3\ ) so that you are left with a folder in there.

Once done, make sure that you extract the fiels in the 2.0 - 2.3 file to the new UT2v2 folder.

When you open Quake 3 and go to the MODS menu, it will be listed as version 2.0, but it will open as version 2.3 and work on pretty much EVERY SERVER!!!!!!!
