BarrysWorld STV:EF Map Rotation Update

I am in the process of updating the EF Servers map rotation here at BarrysWorld. But I need the help of the community in deciding what maps you want to see on our servers.

My ideal is on having 2 types of servers. [Original] For the original maps released with EF [Popular] For the popular maps both custom, and original.

So please give me your comments, and ideals for maps and if necessary please supply me with a url on which to download the map(s). Also this is not just for CTF, and also for DM. So make it both types of maps.

well for the CTF side of things i think that faceoff should be no.1 priority to add.alot of leagues are now using this map (in my oppinion is one of the best maps around(bar spyglass))
maybe having a server with the promaps for voy1 and 2 would be a good idea.they run alot smoother and would help us 56kers out there :)
dare i suggest mansion as well,that one definatly packs out a server most of the time.o.k. fair enough alot of people would say but it's a campy map.but whats the point of playing ctf if the flag isn't hard to get hold of.

other suggestions............asylum,freeze and spyglass2

yep faceoff, astro (also in the promaps pack), neoegypt and reservoir.

spyglass 2 only if spyglass gets taken out not that much div between them (at least in a same cycle)

dont know freeze how good is that one?

no mansion though its a funny map

nah leave resovior to the specialties servers.

freeze is pretty good,it's based around cloud city out of the empire strikes back (star wars for all you youngsters).

hmmmmmmmmm onyx out of our clan did one the other day called speedway and thats quite good.it's almost a cross between faceoff and voy_1/2

admitedly faceoff doesn't need to be on a same server cycle as spy2.

ohhh and faceoff2 (know it only from disi though) theta is also a nice map

ps are Crash and me the only ones that will respond to this question come on people

How about.......

Danger City, Villa, Area51, Desert Fort and the Pad maps. Most for deathmatch/TDM but all are good fun.

lol well you want links....................i'll give them to you.even though i don't like to direct people to thier site...................apaclan pffffffffft!

that will take you directly to the map collection,just use the drop down menu mate :)

even though !some! of thier members are assholes for what they did to me they have an excellent map collection (just about everyone available as far as i know(well done to jim and rich for getting that impressive collection together :clap: )

Like the idea with orginal map server, but could you at least remove ctf_space & ctf_kln2. Those 2 maps are the quickest way to empty a server. :)

As for new maps, uhm .... ctf_Geothermal3 , AND2 and ctf_Speedway (ofcourse .... ghehe).

lol i actually forgot about the fact that ntheres the opportunity to remove maps as well as add them.good point my friend :)

space is a 100% crap and is the worst map for getting rid of people.maybe moving that off the original server would be the best bet and put them somewhere else.....................like the rubbish bin lol i feel that apart from the n00bs most of the EF com' would vote that one off for sure.

kln_2 is almost the same but it is more popular than space and i don't see that many people leave the server when the cycle goes to it.maybe not such a good idea to remove that one to be honest.

but please.please,pleeeeeeeeease put the pro maps up if not just voy1 and 2!!!!!!!!!!!

Kln2 has its fans, so don't remove that one totally, but Space YES!!!!!!

`well i like space :clap: and this aint a joke though i agree that it is not needed to keep space on every server caus i agree alot of people dont like it hehe

I have to admit that I like kln2, cos its the only map Im semi decent at......so where the heck has it gone?!!!!!! :upyours:

I think the following maps should be added:

From the Expansion Pack -

CTF_OLDWEST - Judgment Day
CTF_RESERVOIR - Reservoir (Not just for Specialties)

FAN_AMBUSH
FAN_The Bunker


As for other maps I like -

WATERZONE
CTF_REDSUN2 - This is a great map better than allot of the custom maps currently on the custom server.
Geothermal 2 - Adds new tactical possibilities so that should be added.
Geothermal 3 - Is almost completely different to geo so it should be on there too.

all the pads and dangercity
there was one that looked like a quake map but I cant remember what its called.

heheh playing all these new maps will be like finding a partner who doesnt just do missionary :p

Thanx Monty for letting me know that however when I try changing map to ctf_mansion in in2ta it boots everyone from the server - I just assumed it was because it was not available.

If anyone knows why this is happening could they purlease let me know?

oh where to get redsun2? and whats waterzone like? is that the one with 2 castles green water and music?

also disagree alot of the choices that are made are modified maps not new maps in my eyes. When i play 3 maps that are almost the same i get bored and i leave the server

another question pad maps are good but what i heared they take a lot of power to run prop is this so? otherwise i would say leave them of the normal (though they are fun) caus i think the result would be that the small ef com would grow smaller and smaller

RedSun2 is like no map currently on the servers neither is Waterzone really as it has limited weapons and ammo.

I think both of them are available on www.EliteForceFiles.com

If you don’t have any joy let me know and I will get them to you :)
