Seriously, PB_FIELD4 is the only map that is worth playing at a competative level, the other maps have nets that are too big, too small, or just too hard to get to 
I'll be disappointed if any newbie maps are put on :/ -

tbh I'm torn between the maps
I dont think any of the maps have got it right yet, field_4 i think ice was ranting on about, the goals on that seem a litle small to me, field_2 i think it is, they are too big, we need some sort of a balance between 2 and 4 map
get some ppl at bw or id or whereever to design some maps especially for the league or summit.
you have to include hoops though
all other maps apart from 2 4 and hoops =uke:

Hoop should definately be in there. The only two maps I really don't want to see in there are misc4 & 2. Can't make my mind up on 5.

Saturday evenings
What time would that be exactly? Hardly anyone is online saturday evening so we can't participate if it's late Saturday evening is the worst possible time for a league imo.

Saturday night for any clan with players older than 15 is pretty much impossible, i know a lot of our clan won't be able to play... which would make fielding a squad highly unlikely.
Any other openings?

ive only ever seen pb_hoop1 from the hoop side of proball, dont know if there is actually any others? but its very small for any more than 3v3 which is a bit cack... some of the misc maps are certainly interesting... there is one particularly which i will find out what its called and follow up on later

If its becuse u may struggle... Appoint someone too look after the league...

Hoop has to be included, along with field 2 and 4 - I like misc5 too coz its quite cool - though 4 or 5 players a team on that map would get a bit crowded...

As for a night of the week btw, I would probably prefer Late Sunday or maybe the Friday night.... Not fully sure on that one though - I might be out on the piss)

Most if not all of the servers are in use i think on league nights so it would probably be too much messing about reconfiguring servers when theres a spare one for an hour etc

pb_field4 is a MUST
I'd say field2 is still acceptable, it will make for a bit different games than in field4 and thats good... It forces the def to recover the ball before cause u cant let anyone be in a 1on1 with the goaly.
PLEASE DONT ADD HOOP, its just another game, not proball, no goalies and no tactics at all, just run, shoot and try to get the ball if u fail...
Misc maps are just weird. eaice is a good player from a good clan (although they just cant play with their mouths closed), belive guys like him not the PB newbies.

I mailed u a few weeks ago bif asking to change the bwpb day to thursday and not saturday, but for me - the tables have turned and i work on thursdays and NOT saturdays - argh
Which means i will miss the bwpbl :[

Also, who will run the league ? - A good idea would be to appoint someone to run it, exile has alot of time on his hand and is willing to do it.. he could then get a team of admins to run the games and stuff.... which would take weight off your shoulders eh bif

i agree with ice on this one, i can run it, i'll get some ppl to help me out and then bif/bw wont have to worry about it clashing with other leagues, we could maybe even "borrow" the pb public servers for the games
you could even run the league on thursdays and saturdays and just do it like now ctf games are run (just a thought)
if anyone else agrees or wants to help out and be an admin if it goes ahead then reply asap

What about the custom maps making an appearence, maybe the nba one? i dunno, few of the other maps have bugs on which need to be fixed, or some1 would have to get hard to work and make some maps just for the league.
It seems kinda hard considering field4 is the only decent map that could be playable. Altho it would get a bit borin play the same map night after night and me having so sit in goal night after night

As for maps, i started this forum off saying field4 is the only map worth playing - man how much wiser i am now...
Ok ok, there IS a limit ...
Ive been having a few games on field1.. 2v2's tho.. - the shooting on it takes much more skill than field4 for example - but the problem occurs on it when its 4v4, and u have 4 dicks in net, which makes it impossible to score (even with 2 in net..) - so this map could be chosen, but some sort of rule saying 'no more than 1 fucktard in net..' or something ..
I like the custom map that has the champions league theme - it has no goalie safety which can be good and bad.. but anyway
Whats wrong with just field4 for now ? its like saying 'hi we are bored of this map' in football.. or 'hi can we put a big toilet in the middle of this basketball court'

If u want a bog on the map go play the custom map, urinal
and football's a lot differnet from proball mind u Altho when i was playing on sunday I thought if I stood still i would teleport back to defence....
