Easy:

drop poq3dm5
and bring back: pro-q3dm6 and q3dm7

If I had to vote one of the osp maps out it would be ospdm5 and keep ospdm6.

poq3dm5 sucs (especially on frame rate)

DM7 is sweet PRO-Q3DM6 is too FFA

OSPDM6 is the best map in the game and I own on it lol :)

OSPDM5 is alright dont have anything against it but if ya up against a very strong side they will hammer you on it no chance to run and hide...

CPM4 & Q3DM14TMP are cool maps and a great change of pace

osp5 and osp6 are both pretty quality maps, but osp5 doesnt have clear sides which could be called the leading and backup positions.

so.. if one of them had to go: osp5 should go out and osp6 should stay

osp6 is all about aim and skills :) and still I love that map (hehe)

q3dm7 should be in
q3dm6 is (which form ever, all the same to me :p , all are ) FFA and ClanArena only, shouldnt be in.

though I'd like to see a season without cpm4 and q3dm14, there isnt enough choice to dump 'em. so....

Maybe some of you should download some of the demos of the top american clans playing pro-q3dm6. Some real quality games there and its really not a ffa map at all. There are many different strats you can play on it but yeah its a very fast paced map.

People always moan its been overplayed but fact is .. its still probably the best q3 map. Its really not my best map at all but I still love playing it ... its a skill map.

Bring pro-q3dm6 back !!!

May I agree that CPM4 and DM14tmp need a rest... possibly a new map needs to be entered as well as the OSP maps as much as I hate them both. Although OSPDM12 is a good map imo.

Other than that DM12tmp, CPM9 and a good couple of maps in DM6 and dm7 that us veterans all love may be able to fill the map pool...

Time for a change imo but we'll see what the basic consensus is.

Any Ideas for New Ones? OSPDM12 is all I can think of and I didn't like POQ that much though it WAS playable. If possible though try and stick away from OSPdm5 (hate)

CPM4 and DM14 are both still good, ospdm5 smells of wee, ospdm6 is a good map, dm12 smells but not as much as 5 i spose, dm6 can fuck right off imo cos it smells as much as ospdm5 and 12 put together, poq is just er, smelly. ospdm12? you are kidding right? that is an abysmal map imo.. my choices would be (in no particular order)

cpm4, dm14, dm7, ospdm6, and milk (that owned, not that new one tho)

I have nothing whatsoever against dm14 and CPM4 but my point was that they may have aslight chance of being overplayed, being as they are being played in ALL things that I have seen (well maybe not all but most)

Agreed OSPDM5 is a shat map and OSPdm6 is decent, but I did quite enjoy my match on dm12tmp and OSPDM12 AS WELL as CPM9 (which you didn't mention - possibly because u didn't think it was worth warranting it a comment (I know that this is an acquired taste)).

I didn't know that one of us veterans hated dm6 - possibly because it was the ONLY maps we all used to play back in the day... As well as this though iggy - MILK? could there BE less skill needed? Total Rail whore and teleport spammage map... please god save me from it!

No Offence - as with you, just my opinions...

i love:
ospdm6 (tactical, fast, new: imho the best)
cpm4 (fast, classical)
pro-q3dm6 (fast, fun, classical)
poq3dm5 (tactical, new)

i like:
dm14tmp (tactical, old)

need a chance:
cpm9 (need an european chance since a sooo long time)
ospdm2 (look so great, spice)
PQarena (fun, custom)

why not:
dm12tmp (tactical, nearly custom)
q3dm8 (fun, old)
ospdm5 (tactical, new, but personnally deceived after a season)

don't love:
milk/the other version (tactical but soul less)
cpm13 (tactical but slow n fat)
dm11 (outdated etc)

hate:
dm7 (tactical, classical, but for sure totally outdated, overplayed in bw league and boring :m00: )
mexx (aim map, no interest)

CPL Played it...

OSPDM2 was played at the CPL competition prehaps we should give it a try? I've played it loads 2v2 and its worked really well i don't know about 4v4 i'll see if i had get me clan playing it, any1 up for the challenge? :)

if any other map then what I stated above is needed (dm7, cpm4, osp6, dm14, osp5 ----> NO dm6), then it would be milk/imr3dm1

cpm9/cpm13/dm12 all suck arse and should deffo not be seen back in any serious league.

We from Empire Belgium also did not train this map very well...
So like the most people say here :cpm4 dm14tmp dm7tmp osp5 osp6.

against the grain.......

How much do you need to banish DM14...always hated, always will.

Personally I would go for a lot more new maps. This would bring a breath of fresh air to the scene.

Hard chips on those that know every nook and cranny of the old maps and this would upset a fair few. Then again it may also liven up the otherwise quiet scene.

DM6 yeah a great map, just get the edge overload feeling (for you ex. q2ers)

lol @ all these teams that say they don't want dm6 because they don't like it or because they haven't practiced it!

Thats all we used to play! Back in the day I mean!

That and dm7 and dm8 - none of these OSP maps - coz I think they are shite... a map that you can have a plan on is better rather than a map where you never actually see each other unless going for QUAD...

Ah well - rant over...

GO DM6 and DM7 with CPM4 and CPM9 along with another 2 that you want to pick....
