Ok, people keep sking me and emailing me why no-one has paid for barrysworld but funny thing is so many people have emailed me we could fill nearly 2 servers up :|. Like what i did the other day I just sat in the room for 5 mins and 4 people came so we played, insteed of looking at empty servers why not try em and wait for some1 to join many people are out there waiting

I have done the same m8 and will continue to do so.

The last 2 times I have went on a server 3 people have connected, mind you I had to connect twice to rotate the map off of AND1 before anyone came in but it works.

As Bondie says connect to the servers others will come.

yer it works managed to get 4 ppl in the other day, but am startin to get a bit bored of 1v1 ctfs now.
Comeone guys sign up and lets get the barrys EF comunity goin again.

i really hope when im back online With new adsl things will be better it is such a shame to see BW

i not be able to pay online so no barrysworld for me i not pay anyways i payed for game i payed for internet and now also pay to go on server ? the game is allready expensive enough and playing online is included in the game if there are big companys with servers to play games on they must get money from raven or other gamedevelopers and not from the people who play the games we payed ( or i ) payed allready enough !
but barrys good luck anyways with this pay system, i hope for you it gonna work anyways !

yeah i can totally understand why some people don't want to pay,like wadada said (god I'm actually going to agree with him) paying for the game and the connection (especially for the isdn users) is a big expense in the first place without having to pay to play on servers as well.

I can understand fully why BW have had to go to P2P though and to be honest I don't blame them,as you know nothing in this day and age comes or can be run for free.

Anyway I have a slight feeling that things will get better as new games come out,I have seen many games (mainly strats and RPG) where you have to pay to play the game online.If the company who is selling the game is either owned by or works along side the company that owns the server/s they sometimes offer 1-3 months free subscription with the game.Hopefully BW will give away free subs if you buy the game from the GAME retail outlet,if not it maybe a good idea for them to do so,get the players on the server first,make the servers as good as they get and then the players will see that the service is good enough to pay for (hopefully)

Anyway lets bide our time and see what happens

I keep looking, I keep joining in the hope someone else will join(there's only so much jumping around practicing you can do on your own) I nearly jumped out of my skin the other day when someone else eventually joined! but we hung around a bit hoping to increase the numbers from 2 but no joy.
Maybe I'm working to a different time scale to everyone else-Talaxian perhaps-I'm usually around from 6pm BST. Maybe we can arrange a time to all meet up-there's would be a potential five in a server then!
Anyone else up for it I'll see you at 7.00pm BST Weds. 4th Sept on one of the public servers.................

Well- just played with a few others for a couple of hours. Thanx to Viking for the rofl!!
Took half an hour to increase from two people though! Got there in the end.

Widdy- any chance that the powers that be can change the map on the public servers to start at something other than And1. There's only one thing more annoying than waiting around in an empty server for hours on end and thats when the server is always.....And1!!!!
Was gonna say finally got Barrylogon to work as well but f'ing thing wouldn't work second time of connection. Grrrrrr.

well i try and play, i registered and paid but still have no one to play
I cant change maps anymore because i had Admin status taken from me ( dont know why,as i replied to the mail off starman in time) so i sit in and1 time after time after time

This empty servwer shite is going on too long,let ppl at least vot on all servers or give ppl that were willing to help the chance again,as Starman decided to revoke admin powers when he feels like it

Remember CTF 4 now is votable so you can play on that and play the maps you want!

lol well I'm married too,so in the style of road trip wouldn't a smutty comment be canceled out due to us both being married? hehe

unfortunatly I'm not the person to speak to about the publics,I only deal with the league servers (thank goodness)

On the barrylogon they still haven't got a working version for trusty old win98 so I don't actually use it (especially after the trials as the bugger never used to work all the time anyway)
