I was *really* bored at work and was looking at the BW Dialup disclaimer (because no-one ever actually reads these).

I came across this:

"BarrysWorld may run automated searches for abuse of it's Services and members are deemed to have accepted this limited intrusion to their networks or machines "

OK.

What EXACTLY does that mean???

You download the barrydial software (which comes in at a quite mind-boggling 860k for a simple dial-up connector). Are you downloading something that opens your machine?

Either way - it doesn't really matter to me (I'm a broadband user) - but, damnit, I'm BORED.

Someone from BW care to comment? :uhoh:

I don't think he was hypothesising on the probability of shoes fitting better when wearing thin socks generally. Rather he was making a statement of fact regarding a pair of shoes he owns.
