but whats the bare minimum anyone has got daoc to run on (classic version)...

just curious in case its worth me dusting off my old 300mhz beast .... will be on 1mb line though

You can have the phattest pipe around and it will still suck if your hardware can't handle it

And as FPS are concerned then their is so little dif between a stable 128 line and 1 meg Ping Wise at least.

Had it running on an athlon 600 with 32 meg gf2 mmx and 128 meg of ram , was perfectly playable except in rvr.
However i dont think u will get it to even start with less than a p3 500

Lowest I've had it going on is a celeron 500 with 64mb. That was extremely steady and would only run classic. You could measure the framerate on a calendar.
