Seriously, i understand if you wanna keep your template a "secret" if you spend many hours making it but posting your stats just to show how great you are without even hinting to items is a bit childish imo. I bet most of you had an example for a template yourselves to start with

i think people are more concerned with posting templates because if more people copy them then demand for the items in them will rise, thus prices for scrolls rise, and the artifacts get camped more, so basically making the tedium that is TOA even worse ^^

Yeah I agree, making a DAOC Template is not like you invented the light bulb, you guys should just be happy if others would like to use the same template as you, it's just a game.

Well maybe it is just me, but I tend to look at these templates for advice and getting some info from people I regard as "experts". Besides it is nice to know other peoples view on things.

As regards my own spec's, lol I tend to just go with what I think having seen in the advice. As for items - what ever looks the best.... to the point I go for glowy Items - regardless of spec... well ok I do look at the spec a little...

IMO I can't see how a slight difference in a weapon/armour stat makes when being ganged/zerged anyhows ... so for Bard less important unless Battle Bard or maybe a solo artist.. unless it is heal based ofc...ie: quick/dex etc... u know the blah blah blah stuff I often try to read on here

It's very important for a bard to cap. After all you're the main target for enemies. Btw: Quickness only helps wpn speed and evade, no use to cap that as bard (well not primary). And ehM. unless it's healing based?? You're a bard, not a druid...use your speed to mezz/unmezz. So yes, there is a difference between a 3s ae mezz and a 1s ae mezz and the difference might give your grp a huge advantage =)
