Bard Spellcrafting

Was just thinking since my bard dinged 50 last week i must get new instruments.
Got me new drum/lute/flute player crafted 99% and i was thinking what would be good to put on em.
I really got no ide so i would appreciate some help :)

/edit Cant afford anything except epic armor in a very long time :\

Yea i put same on instrument coz u can only equip 1 at a time,,

and with epic ar hmm

Id go for Hits / Dex / Thrust / Body..

Just dont know exact amounts w/o having stats in front of me

Think the less resists thing counts against higher con targets, even con is the same no matter what, if I'm right ofc, which I may not be, I should go to bed!

It is likely that any bard has their Cha capped without putting any extra on the instrument (well, depends a lot on the template really).

In RvR cap any resists with the instrument (probably drum mostly used...) that arent capped (also, if dex/qui arent capped, might want to put some in those to get better chance to evade...).

In PvE for drum/flute cap regrowth, dex, power, char... the bard PvE support stats. In PvE your lute can be any shitty lowbie lute you can find really.

Putting points in music really is useless... doesn't affect chance to mezmerize at all and only may add a teeny bit to the dmg shout does (which I doubt it even does...).

I dont JUST rvr ffs !!

Need music in EZ DF and other places where they aint yellow con mobs.

And all my resists are capped ;0

Who said you did? Ditch the music anyway though, especially in PvE you do better with regrowth.

But im sure +music highers my wepaonskill with lute out, i respec;d from 44 music to 37 and my weapon skill drop''d by about 200 points, no idea what else it might have been, way harder to twist.

But dont g putting +music on because of that, im proably just to tired

+nurture = waste of time
+regrowth = waste of time
+music = ok if u dont have 50 music including RR but wouldnt bother too much
+weaponskill = ok if u dont have 50 weapon skill already and wanna be able to tank.

Think with epic armour Charisma is almost maxed, so I guess the main things to add to instruments are +hits and resists.

Well, you, of course, heal better with regrowth maxed out. Especially if you have just 16 in regrowth (like one of the popular bard specs does) your heals have a LOT of variation and getting regrowth as high as you can really does help. To have absolutely no variation in your base line heals you need to have 48 in regrowth (or 47 can't remember... Syrah did some extensive testing on this).

How much did the instruments cost?

Like how for the lute + remakes to ge the 99% or is it easier with stuff like that.

Just trying to gauge a price.. I was quoted 288gp per instrument not sure if that was final price or with remakes included.
