Only thing thats non quested is melancholy cloak and warshadow bracer, rest is 99 qua crafted.

Didnt put any music or nurture simply because its, well, worthless :)

With weapon and shield equipped you will have +70 str, +49 qui and +11 blades/blunts.

Edit:
I only added the +weapon, +str and +qui for fun and because there were slots over, i dont see a real reason for a bard to cap these unless there are extra slots/imbue points to fill, except maybe qui for evades but thats more or less neglible imho.

Click on equipped slot with both wpn/shield so the report updates all the things adding their stats.

Anyway caping a bard is one of the easiest thing to do

Ok capping quick might be a very nice idea.

Evade 2 + Dodger 3 say givs nice evade rate so best to cap dex/qui just for evade

Doh, missed that(not that stout leather belt is very hard to get tho ;)).

And i didnt cap qui simply because i dont consider it being a stat worth capping(for a bard), i just raised it with spare slots

Uhm, that way it wont show the stats when holding an instrument, why would i do that? Much better just stating what one would get while holding weapon/shield.

And in my opinion a bard should never have weapon/shield out anyway, just for fun etc.

Nice setup

Using same jewlery all mp armour+shield, origanly made with +2 parry bracer instead of +2 reg, after moving some gems around i could came up with this:

Stats:
Str: 76 Int: 0 Hits: 204
Con: 77 Pie: 0 Power: 0
Dex: 75 Cha: 75
Qui: 31 Emp: 0

Resists:
Body: 26 Energy: 26 Crush: 26
Cold: 26 Matter: 26 Thrust: 28
Heat: 26 Spirit: 27 Slash: 28

Skills:
11 Regrowth

When equiping weapons regrowth falls to 6 and get 11 weapon and 75 qui, no change in resists

This is with a messy jewlery setup, will work a bit more on it so less oc/mps

Dos anyone know if you can get your bracers changed if you got the parry instead of reg bracer?

PS you setup is not all 99%:

Right Hand:
Imbue Points: 34 of 28 (99% Qual) Overcharge: Impossible!
Gem 1: 25 Strength - 99% flawless Fiery Essence Jewel
Gem 2: 6 Blades - 99% polished Watery War Spell Stone
Gem 3: 1 Dexterity - 99% raw Vapor Essence Jewel
Gem 4: 1 Quickness - 99% raw Airy Essence Jewel
Utility: 48.0

just put it on mp shield and you good to go ;P

why not.

Because a bards base evade should be around 12%ish with dodger 2(a nightshade has 20% fully buffed with no dodger, so assumed 12%ish as a nice round number for 16 modified base evade).

All other stat raises from mythic are linear as far as i know, and a nightshades evade(which is affected more by dex/qui since they have a higher base) only increases about 30% with +125 dex and +75 qui(no, i dont need the chance to evade is 50% higher, i mean the 20% or so chance gets raised by 30% which is 6%) which for a bard would mean roughly 3% more evades with +200 total dex/qui.

Which leads to the conclusion that 25 quickness will *not* make 'enough' of a difference to include it in your template unless you have slots/points to spare.

Edit: My guess is that those 25 qui would increase your evade rate by about 0,4%, which means one in 250 attacks, which, well, just does not matter ;)

I'm making a template for my bard aswell, and I'm definitely going to use the lost seed falcata. It gets a sweet lifedrain proc in 65, which is well worth sacraficing a wee bit of strength for :)

where are these values and percentages coming from?

few weeks ago i was looking at all this and i came with a different conclusion, tho i dont remember how, i just remembered that i decided it would be best to cap qui all the same.

just wanna know if the items you have posted here are the best ones for bards, cause i got a lvl 47 bard and she has mostly grey con items which sucks, and i dont know which ones to get.
