I have just been kicked off a BY server, and apparently there was a message across the screen, like when you have cheats installed after i had gone.

I joined the game, I bought a gun, I run round a corner, I shot a member of my team twice(2 bullets),i apologised, then I got kicked. This is absolutely fucking wrong, I had all my clan mates in there at the time and especially with getting the message this is embarassing to say the least.

Of course I went into BY admins irc channel and they were loads of help :/

I don't cheat and no doubt you will hear of this, draw your own conclusions about me, you have all seen my scores and I can't even be considered good.

I am fucking fuming.

If this helps i was kicked Friday night too and i can assure you i don't cheat either ...i had the message about cheating too but the first time i got kicked i had a message saying i was disconnected from server because my memory was corrupted , any ways i found this today and i'm positive its what caused me to be kicked

Some of you may have had problems with VAC giving out false-positives for cheating due to hardware errors. Counter-Hack's Paladin-X contacted VALVe's Eric Smith about the false-positives, and Eric suggested this fix:
We've heard about false positives from a few people and have been trying to investigate the problems. Some of the problems have been caused by intermittent RAM/hardware errors on the clients' machines.

Have them run the attached program on their computers for a day or two and let me know the results. It just does some RAM checks and reports any failures.

We're still working on this problem and will do what we can to resolve it. We don't want anyone to be falsely detected for a cheat.

Well your no where to be found on the BY Abuse database...

Have any idea what admin kicked you? They are supposed to give you an Admin Message to stop whatever your doing.

Can you get on the BY Servers anymore?

If he was kicked as i was, it's not done by any admin its purely VAC and so wont show up on the abuse database.

I can tell you i was pretty peeved at the time as tremor is now, because there are peeps that will not believe you dont cheat after they see that ...

Tremor i think its a 24 hour ban unless you can get hold of a spare cd key like i did

It's not BY, it is VAC. I've had a mate kicked off my own server for it, and I know he doesn't cheat. They are having problems with false positives, but they refuse to wipe them all. Here is to hoping that they get it all sorted well before they up the ban time.

Well its 5.50am and I couldn't sleep all night because of this, I thought I would be calm by now.........I'm not.

As Lara says it wasn't an admin apparently, it is a problem with VAC I'm kinda wondering if this has anything to do with my PC resetting, I am going to run that program and see.

Yes I could join the other servers on BY Gray.

OAP were playing, I just need to contact one of there guys to explain this, because I don't want them thinking I cheat.

Theres something really strange happening, I can connect to BW servers no problems, I cant connect to any Jolt servers though, it stays on the loading screen(it says won identification succesful, connection accepted) and thats all it does. This is beginning to really piss me off. I have reinstalled HL and CS twice now and it makes no difference.

TBH this is what you all get for not using your BW servers

I wouldn't worry to much Trems, in the beta stages of cheat software lots of people get flasely caught. I dont think anyway that matters would beleive you cheat -especially after seeing you play!

Well i was on BlueYonder last night, there was some cunt on there always TWing his Teammates (Me incl.) anyway, all of a sudden he left the server with the Message..

"Automatically Disconnected from the Server"

I got 4 cd keys, i got hl one,blue shift one, opp force one and a gunman chronicals one.
i also have the hl generations pack with a set of keys.
So does that make me a hax0r or Teamkiller?????

Aye the one that was soiled by VAC is the one off the original release of Half Life, its dirty now

I have e-mailed the top guy at counter-hack.net about this and he has contacts at Valve so I will let you guys know what happens.
