I can assure you he hits for a lot more he was probably rez sick, un buffed.. or using a lvl 40 bow for a laugh

nah bash the fotm spec i think is like high bow + shield so u can slam then crit shot or something melee is thrust / slash they mean not shield

Heh, we have had quite a few laughs in the guild about Bankmanager.
I think he have shot me with his bow about 200 times and never hit me for over 200.
I was actually about to post and ask his specc here since i thought he had like the worst bow ever and about 20 specced in bow. Pretty funny since i have never seen him outside a keep or a tower.

You really don't have a clue do you. Bankmanager is one of the few people on alb who will try and organise defense etc, and spends countless hours repairing the walls of our keeps. I'm surprised he even has chance to shoot people the amount of effort he puts in. He's almost certainly done more for our realm than your fotm ranger has for yours.

Besides from what I've seen, 150-200 damage is absolutely normal for rapid fire on me and I wear leather armour. As he leads a fair few raids, he can't exactly just release and rebuff everytime he dies so chances are he is unbufffed a lot of the time. I'm not certain he has a bb anyway tbh.

I have never seen Bankmanager using his bow and i m quite sure he hasnt one when he is out in the frontiers.

He is just out repairing the Keepwalls

Unless Banky has changed recently,he'll still be un-Toa'ed,un-s/c'ed and definitely unbuffed....probably rez-sick as well (always tries for getting a rez instead of releasing).
All he does/did is fix doors/keeps and looks out for any RR size forces,one of the few people for who RvR actually means Realm v Realm.

Still i would like see more of him then his elevated being 2500 range away

He's just after his spec not if he's a good samaritan or not. Try reading the first post. I dont remember Tetsue saying he doesnt do anything for the realm he sucks etc!!!.

Tsk bubble! you need to go to some more keep/tower defences then! You'll always find bankmanager there dutifully repairing walls and doors.

He rocks, his dedication seems unlimited, and he just plain rocks.

Alb would be in much worse shape if he weren't around to patch it up for us.

Didnt know that, but i know how tough and often thankless that job can be.

Saw him out shooting a bit the last few days, think i got him once or twice today (no idea if he got me back, other archers seem to target me as much as i target them)
But if i get a chance next time ill wave after. <grin>

Ah onto the question at hand, either rezz sick, unbuffed, using rapid fire or all of the above, might also be using fools bow which is fast but doesnt hit as hard as some others.

Just had to register here to reply I suspect my spec is pretty boring really.. 45lb, 42 shield etc, Fools Bow, mariasha's gloves, BoS (and actually managed to get the cash to be sc'ed, Krait!). As others have said, I'm usually roaming unbuffed and using rapid fire in a vague attempt to frighten away anyone who might want to hurt me rather than actually hoping to kill them...

Sometimes, particularly in keep defenses, kind souls throw some buffs at me - for which I'm always grateful. As for standing on top of a big tower shooting down, it seems a safer place to be than standing where I can be trampled into the mud - which is also why I like to repair walls and doors...
