Today I did this:
I wouldn't normally bother as I ride 5-6,000 miles annually anyway, but I've never done a closed-road event. The video, hastily edited by me, was shot on a GoPro mounted on my handlebars.
I did 52 miles in about 2 hours 48 minutes, a personal best for me. Averaged just over 18mph. Four circuits of a route from Man City to Old Trafford:

I'm a bit knackered now. Several thousand calorie deficit to make up though, so maybe I'll have some cake for tea
