Been checking the two 'tombs' where the snake is meant to pop for ages now and nothing seems to happen, also the tips on vos seem crap to me, looking for a female snake etc, only females there -.-
Anyone got a clue bout how to get the bloody snake to pop, if there is a way other than agroing a million snakes and running around like a sissy which i already tried?
If not, whats the timer on snake? :x

Move into aggro range of any snake at the tombs. If one runs away from you then it will pop a couple of minutes later.

Most I have seen at a tomb is 3 snakes, all yellow con, so not much of a threat

Edit. If it runs away don't kill it.

No only a female will spawn into Chisisi. Click on snake, (s)he is agressive to you. A male will always attack. A female may run. You want a running one Its also a highly camped spawn with ppl trying to farm rings (for their own use or to flog) which kinda fucks over ppl after artifact credit. I know it was 3 days b4 I managed to get a mob, kept spawning other tomb and someone happening to pass by and kill it first trying to get a ring.

One of mythics more retarded ideas imo. Lets put uber drops on mobs that other ppl want to kill for artifact credit :/

Well, with all those players farming the encounter so they can sell the ring they don't need for 10p (*yawn*) and a pretty random long spawn, good luck ...

I got up early to do this one. ran to tomb 2 saw a female snake it ran off. 1 min later the arti mob spawned. unfortunatly all it dropped was a random rog uke:

Takes longer than 10hr to farm it so 10p (1p/hour isnt difficult) is fair enough tbh.

Reason it takes longer than 10hr is cause everyone is after it, same as cloudsong is farmed to hell and back :x

Came across Chisissi (sp?) a while back, whilst wandering the lands in the early days.

Wanted to find out what was in the Temple, so I pulled (taunt) the snakes til I had a clear walk in.

The final snake didn't come when taunted, but slithered in and out of the temple. So I ran in, Chisissi spawned (red con). So I kicked her butt, nothing dropped, but I got encounter credit.

If that's any help.

And in answer to the last note. I was an unbuffed Paladin soloing it !

Seems to me it would be better for people farming the ring for cash to spend that time farming salvagable drops, seals, scrolls, whatever, instead of making the life of those players who actually need the drop or artifact+credit harder.

Cloudsong, at least, is farmed by people who want the cloak for themselves.

Kinda like maddening scalars, seems the snake is killed whenever it spawns by people who don't need it, and you find the artifact on CMs while people like me are trying to get credit on an encounter that is like never up. On the other hand, the encounter is bugged and didn't give me credit the first and only time I done it, so maybe this is why some of the gloves end up on CMs (And GoA won't give me due credit either <sigh>).

Footnote, would be nice if people could refrain from killing mobs that drop stuff they don't need (especially artifacts that won't even sell) when there's people trying to get credit.

Ive seen <Rose> ppl (ray and camil them dam artifact haven abusers) camping it constantly, had a char camping there and they killed it 4 times in 6 hours and had 3 CloudSong drops, doubt they needed them for themselfs tbh.

PPL will farm artifact mobs for the cash, nothing anyone can do about it.

If you really dont like ppl camping artifact mobs for the cash they can get from selling the drops then y not go and farm the cash and buy the drops, saving yourself some time? then ask them if u can leech credit from there kill for the credit and you win all around, time and trouble wise.

I remember Camil saying they (Rose) needed like 5 cloaks for a caster group, so doubt they camped there for any other reason. There's a grand total of two artifacts that give 5% casting speed, one of which is cloudsong, no wonder it's farmed to hell. That the drop rate is bad isn't helping.

I've bought several artifacts and got credit with a regular group, still doesn't make me especially happy to see people kill mobs that spawn maybe once a day if even that and the artifacts end up on CMs with nobody to buy them. Right now there's 5 maddening scalars for sale on CMs, and I'm probably not going to see the mob spawned for another two weeks ...

Anyway, it's all the PvE'ing that's starting to piss me off more than people.
