Balance teams on Assault server

Had some cracking games of assault last night, only thing was for alot of the maps teams were unbalanced.

How come the server isnt set to balance the teams?

I have spoken to DrChris and there will be a move to balance teams on all teamplay servers soon to see how it goes. I seem to spend most of my time on CTF and DM TP servers swapping sides to balance the teams and I cannot remember the last time I actually played a whole game with balanced teams.
