Bainshee Template (also for other casters)

[Garbannoch]

That's my final bainshee template. I am very happy with it - some magical resists are a bit low but you have a) the 300 point magic ablative to take away some dmg and b) croc tear ring which has a 5% dmg absorb (results in an effective 3-4% resist enhance). All important stats and bonuses are capped (con misses 16 points but bainshees have con as tertiary stat so no biggie).

I have written some comments next to the resists.

Way overcapped int.. Hits could be higher.. Resists arent good. And you use very expensive items, so kinda bad imho.. You use jacinas, so it makes it kinda hard to cap stuff.. But you have to decide if you wonna cap or use jacinas.. Maybe you can use this one.. Just change the spell craft + skill to what ever you need, the rest is to all magic skills..
No jacinas but 5% + 5% from cloudsong is 10% (cap) anyway..

it's easy to cap resists without using jacina

problem is without jacina you don't have 10% passive resist piercing + the jacina charge which are both no. 1 priority for most casters. Additionally as a bainshee I cannot run a resist pierce aura (zahur or CS) and the magic ablative at the same time. Jacina is a must have for every caster and especially for bainshees - sacrificing a few resists doesn't matter much.

well power is no issue from what I have seen so far. The base dd takes less power than any other spec dd in game (24p). Only mana hog is the cone which is not used that often - and most times when you actually use it (keep defence, camping) you gonna have a fop anyway. Also the magic ablative only costs mana when you start it - there is no mana cost for each pulse (dunno if that is working as intended or a bug).

Also I wanted int and dex maxed (26 cap) for maximum damage (my bainshee is an elf with 15 int/10 dex and the damage at RR4 is already very nice).

you cant have any decent template (atm atleast) which has all those items.
gov, tartaros, cb, croc, eriny's (or tablet) and croc. too much. you'll just have to compensate. unless you're willing to lose something (hits, resists or +skill). i have a template that has croc ring, but no cb, just browse the link Hagman posted. that template should be there aswell.
