Was wondering about the "a lot sure did go this year" thing myself, but then thought that the figure might not be as high as the knowledge of the celebs themselves.

Meaning that it might seem high because it's "our" celebs going and this will msot likely continue as time is such a segmented thing.

Still working until he keeled over, although he did look terribly ill in The Town (he was supposed to look ill in Inception so that doesn't count). Great shame.

I still need to see that film. It is a great shame though.

The love in for The King's Speech made me a bit sick in my mouth.

Not seen The King's Speech yet. She Who Must Be Adored saw it a wee while ago and said it was excellent. I'll probably see it fairly soon.

Those game nominations are well odd. Why is football manager a sports game, yet FIFA manager is a strategy game? Did they get chimps to randomly fill the categories

Yeah, it's a bit odd that. Not sure how FIFA manager can be up for any award tbh :D If anything they should be the other way round, but there's no chance in hell we'd win the strategy BAFTA with some of the titles in that list. Better chance in sports I think, but with GT5 there we're likely to struggle. F1 was really well received too.

Nice one. Which game is that?

FM2011! Pow!
