The 15th instalment in the BadLAN Rising LAN Party series, 'Winds Of War', is now available for enrolment. This is the next step in the BLR series and we have increased our capacity to 150 players complete with new venue (still in Middlesbrough).
The event is 48+ hour non-stop event for 150 people. BLR XV will commence at 16:00 on Friday, October 17, 2003 and end Sunday 18:00 October 19. Admittance price is £26.50 for the whole weekend and includes a raffle entry. From September 1, 2003 admittance becomes £30, there are no individual day prices.
There will be 3 tournaments running, one of which will be a 5v5 CS, the other 2 will be a Duel and an RTS.
As an added bonus, if you find an additional 15 paying people to attend BLR XV and they highlight you as a referral you will be refunded your entrance fee short of raffle entry. Alternatively if you find an additional 10 paying people, you will be refunded, a third of the post September 1 entrance fee.

Hosted on a 10/100mb switched network, all the internet favourites are played. Medal of Honor, Counter-Strike, Quake 3 Arena, and Unreal Tournament are always extremely popular at our events taking up a lot of the playing time. However, several new games have, since BLR XV, made an appearance and several more are due to also so a fun time should be had by all.
