I've been getting a bad protocol error while trying to connect to some HL and TFC servers. HL goes into console, it says the connection has been accepted, and then just syays bad protocol and stops (doesn't crash).
Anybody had this before, or know how to fix it? Is it a server or client problem?
any help would be greatful as these servers are only 4 hops away.
