i was getting the same things in the evening

going LD and shit and shadowghost who is in sweden was going LD exactly when i went LD everytime. Im in UK.

The loss was somewhere in paris with opentransit router.

spoke to req and sent him a trace

can appreciate though its just a little trunk of the internet prolly effected and for some reasons we are routing into the same bit thats bad, not everyone is though, in fact seems the majority are not.

A very similar thing is happening to myself and a friend, usualy between 6pm and 10 pm we loose all conection to daoc, and then when we try to reconnect the login times out. We can both carry on with other things just daoc is effectivly down.

I ran pingplotter all night, and Im getting a similar pattern to the one we had a while ago when opentranshites backbone had a major router screw up (where we all got free days for the problems), huge spikes every 8 minutes plus lots more random spikes at 193.252.99.82, which is a Francetelcom router I believe.

A friend pointed me at this sight the other night, shows your upload and download speed to various places around the world via a pretty flash interface.

Click on Paris and see how its doing. Seems just fine at the moment but a day or two ago something was up.. you know somethings dodgy when your speed from the UK to Paris is slower than South America or Australasia ;)
