Bad news for crafters

In response to my question via Right Now about the problems of skilling past 999, as Blood experienced:

The 999 cap with trade skills will be lifted in the next version of the game (1.49).

This sucks bigtime. No arcanium sabres and other special 16.5 dps weapons, none of the really good arcanium armor.

When was 1.49 to be expected again?

Not long (ie. beginning of August) if testing goes well. But testing was supposed to have already started on Gorre, and I'm not sure that it has.

They'll probably open it up to everyone 3 weeks before it goes live again? (or mibbe shorter if they wanna rush it out)

Simple guys, it gives you a few weeks (months), to go and level and build up your gold reserves for the upcoming crafting frenzy.
