Bad guys, in books, films, cartoons, whatever and wherever. Personally I usually prefer the "bad guy". So ... who's your favourite evil character, or mean character, or whatever, from anything :)
Even better, an evil woman character would be good, as I can't think of a single one at the moment :p

I think a few of mine are Kevin Spacey's John Doe in Se7en. He's truly awesome!
Alan Rickman in anything (Hans Gruber in Die Hard, Sheriff of Nottingham! yay).
I can't really think of any book ones at the moment :)

Oh - by the way, another quick question for anyone who cares to answer - What was the name of the bad guy in the Inspector Gadget cartoon series? :D Can't remember! :p

Hehe.

Hmm... mine would be perhaps a "bad guy" so to say, Stuart Townsend in Queen of the Damned.
Main agent dude in the matrix perhaps...

I really have to think about it. I know I like some bad guys better.
Oh... maybe Vin Diesel in Pitch Black.

Ah got some more, was it Al Pacino (?) who was the bad guy in heat, he rocked whoever it was again.
Also I think Darth Maul so cool :p
Although Phantom Menace wasn't exactly good...

Richard B Riddick was VERRRY cool, but he was more a mean guy than a bad guy :p

A bit of a shame of how he went all soppy at the end! GRRR :)

I watched Lord of the rings again yesterday, and same as every other time I watch it, I just expect Elrond (sp?) to say "Mr Anderson". :p

Me too, "The ring must be destroyed, Mr Anderson!" I was so expecting that :p

As for bad guys, hmm, Alan Rickman because he does the "omg I'm surrounded by idiots" thing _really_ well. :D

I'm my own favorite ewul guy... ;)

Seriously... I think Vince Vaughn is TEH EWUL!!1 - "Domestic Disturbance", "Amercian Psycho" etc.

Pete Postlewaith (gee, hope I spelled that right..) - he played Sgt. Hakeswill in the "Sharpe" mini-series.

*steps into the chorus line* And Alan Rickman, of course. He's a brilliant actor.

Die Hard 1, Robin Hood (he acted Kevin Costner against the wall...), Galaxy Quest, Harry Potter (Prof. Snake) and Dogma (God, I love that movie:)) - this is not a complete listing by the way.

He is a very versatile actor...

Dannyn is right - you gotta love his unnerved 'I am surrounded by eejits' look:)

So happy i've found a legion of Alan Rickman fans! WOOWOO! :D

Wasn't his name in Galaxy Quest something similar to Doctor Lazarus? Or something :p

He's awesome as the voice of God too (Dogma, isn't it grand.)

Shame nobody mentioned Gary Oldman, another classic. Fantastic character in Leon, brilliant actor.
