Bad day at work!

I had only got into work, this morning and somebodt told me the Server was down, I thought oh great. Finally got it going again and I said i'll make the teas now, I spilt boiling hot tea down my leg. Went home to get changed thought fine. Got back head staff having meeting boss wanted me to look at her computer. Fine sorted that out easy then went to lunch tripped over stuff my sis had left on the floor. Ran out of Pepsi for dinner so went back to work. Turns out new cutting machine for heatsealing dosn'e work and we've only had it since friday. After an hour of changing connections found out it doesn't like direct sunlight. Day almost over, had to sort network out again, then got home had driving lesson which was great, got back and microwaved food tasted like pants. New GF2500 turned up installed, turned out my Monitor was to old, well it is nearly seven yrs old.

I got up and faffed around for awhile then I went out to meet some people down the pub, went for a BBQ, had a nice bit of food, a few drinks and a good laugh.

I solved the damn oracle server not wanting to start. Then I found out that bloody MQ didn't want to start, so I solved that. Then oracle packed it in again. After a full day's learning about solaris kernel tuning I finally got oracle and MQ to play together nicely. That felt good so I had a cuppa. Then I went home and watched The Simpsons on telly. Then I went to the gym. At the gym I saw a pair of the most beautiful breasts I've ever seen try to escape the tight top binding them in place as the girl attached to them danced some aerobics steps. I'm well pleased with my day tbh.

I expressed my dislike for Buffy in the latest thread.

Unfortunately Nath and Jonny_Darko almost took it personally and started flaming me.

I think I may be mentally scarred. Maybe.

my day

went to bed late the night before, maybe 4am, after wanking myself raw... woke up with a throbbing hardon that i didn't really wanna do anything about as i'm a on a promise thursday...

went downstairs read magazines, gloated over new pc i've ordered on irc for a couple of hours... mum came home home, made a dozen rashers of grilled bacon for lunch... YUM

went for shower, shit, shave, clean teeth, get dressed... went back to irc for a couple of hours before work...

drove to work, climbed requisite 11 flights of stairs... you'd think being on the third floor you only have 6 flights of stairs.... but the back entrance where i go in from the carpark, u go up a flight of stairs to the door, go inside, ur in the basement
up two flights of stairs... then one floor has four flights of stairs because it's got a sub-level... anyway. suffice it to say.. steps are bad for a geek

it was fucking MENTAL for the first three hours... every idiot calls immediately after a bank holiday
you'd think one day closed wouldn't be a big deal, but it is... logged 7 times the normal amount of calls for a tuesday at this point in the month.

had my head totally thrown when a supervisor comes up to me with some fax a customer sent in, said customer had spoken to me on sat... i had NO fucking idea what he wanted as i'd passed the telephone slip to my supervisor - who wasn't in... so my head was in the shed...

pam, the woman that sits next to me is stropping with me because she came onto me on the works night out a fortnight ago and i turned her down... the woman's 42 (wouldn't normally be a problem)... and weighs around 25 stone (is a problem, very much so)

my new book, jeffery deaver's "the blue nowhere" is looking very promising... had a jaffa cake muffin...

went home... had 4 slices of toast, dog stole some. got bitched at by mum mum for telling her i'm meeting some woman on thursday who lives miles away (my mum pays for my petrol lol)

that's pretty much my day... spent the last few hours talking to a gorgeous woman on a webcam who i'm meeting thursday :>

Don't take it personally. It's almost as if they know Buffy is shit, but also know that if they didn't defend it they wouldn't keep making it, and the jerk-off time to Sarah Michelle Gellar would be gone. I mean who needs a girlfriend, when you have Buffy?

On my day off I had a looong chat with my girlfriend, kinda split up and then got back together again. Same thing happens every damn weekend.

Heh, believe it or not I love the show and have never had a thing for SMG. She's nice enough sure but when there's Holly Valance and Morena Baccarin in the world no one else compares.
