I've changing my sitting position to 135 degrees, holy fuck, my backs been orgasming the last two days straight.

This is my back right now:

Keitanz disagrees with your physical assesment of your own back pain? You must *really* have pissed him off :)

Anyway. Please to be providing the mspaint diagram to be explaining properly...

So. Two things:

1) Slouching is good for you. (Marvellous - I'm a slouch).

2) Chewing gum burns more calories than standing? Really?

I may take it up...

Utter Bollocks. Harry Patch fought the Germans in World War 1, sat at an angle of 84 degrees, smoked 20 a day, drank whisky every night, never visited a gym in his life, and he lived to 112.

If there were a million harry's and a million healthy slouchers - my bet is that double the amount of slouchers would make 80...

Truckers and people who drive for a living sit down nearly the whole day.

TBH I'm sick to the back teeth of all these gym addicted health nazis telling what to eat, how to live your life, etc. One minute red wine is fatal, next they tell us a glass a day is ok. Asperin one a day is good, next minute, stop taking it. Red meat, eggs, exercise. Feck off and leave me to my chocolate eclair and bacon sandwich :D

Agreed, over the years I have been told that wine and butter is good for you, so indulge of course, next I am told it is bad. Fuck the lot of them. You only live once and I say enjoy it and live it how you want.

I'm fully on board team bacon, but seriously try it.

When sat at 90 degrees ( upright ) most of my weight is loaded on my lower back.
When I angle my chair at 45 degrees, I can feel the load is spread across my whole back and my lower back problem has just been alleviated ( I'm 6'4", ~16 stone ).

That just says "fat cunt" to me. Everyone should be able to support their upper body when sitting at a 90 degree angle.

I can easily do my 12hour + day in the chair without my back hurting/etc, it's just when I then go do something like skiing, etc my lower back gets a bit niggly for a week or so because it was already under overstress during my normal routine.
Changing the angle, I can just feel my back going freedommmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm, like some sort of non-racist 20 years ago mel gibson.

I disagree that it's nothing to do with Wij.

Do you exercise regularly? If not, that's probably the cause of the back niggles after skiing (toff) rather than sitting.

</i know your condition better than you do>
