Well, many of those(if not all) can be also credited to the Wayans, good writing etc.

BAd movie scripts make even the best of comedians look like poo, but Jim always has done his own style and he's still managed to get a smile out of you even with dreadful movies.

Movies don't reflect actor abilities always, and vice versa.

I have always been a fan of his and so many of his movies are 100% sure to make me laugh or smile if I'm having a bad day tbh.

Yeah it is a good film, he just doesn't seem as comfortable with the all out comedy genre as he used to be. I always get the feeling that he would like to be offered serious acting roles and he is tired of the rubberfaced stuff.

and he's an excellent actor too, even without his facial expressions. I liked the truman show a lot.
