Has the recent happenings on excal made people leave the beautiful realm of midgard? found these statistics on duskwave:

Looks like midgard is the underdog now with less players than hibernia, but this is balanced with more level 50s.. are there really that many players that still play by the rules "The grass is always greener on the other side"?

What do the rest of you think of this?

Prob nr.1 with the amount of 50's in midgard is that a whole lot of them are on same accounts, so they cant play at the same time

You don't think the fact that NP and CE, who were the core of Midgards RvR player base, have retired to play PvP has anything to do with it?

CE are a loss to the realm yes, Nolby are only a loss to the mid zerg in emain. I haven't seen them out in our frontier in a long time so can't say they are going to be anywhere near as missed as CE.

I shouldn't worry too much, over time these things tend to change again... As for PvP, believe me, a lot of players will be back to the regular servers quite soon after PvP release. In the US, PvP servers are dying.

And having most players doesn't mean you have the best realm. Perfect example is Hibernia.

They do more with less players...

Having less players in Midgard means you guys can get to know eachother better and improve overall gameplay.

Also, you have to worry less about all nice xp spots being overcamped, which is certainly the case in albion.

haha, camping amg in odins is sooo usefull, get real and dare to try some real rvr vs. targets who dont die for free. (i.e L.A guildgrps who would smash u in 3 sec blank.) And thorey, isnt u the sb who always get ganked in emain? see ur dth msg alot

i solo unbuffed in emain the rare times i go there so yeh me vs 2+ infils usually ends up with me dead. at camping odins. all i can say is LMFAO at you, try getting your arse out into our own frontier and you'd maybe see we do a hell of a lot more than that.

When was last time Nolby took back a keep in our frontier btw? when was the last time nolby took a keep in alb frontier? oh won't ask about hib keeps cos u prolly take DC as somewhere to run off to and hide when the other zergs run after u.

fyi NP organized first (and first successfull relicraid on this server). Probably took more keeps back and forth then u would know before u started to play on this server. If we didnt hold back zergs in emain albs would get bored and come odins and instead and whipe your pathetic amg campers gang.

And yes, ive seen odins fights alot, u know its not restricted area for you, its just boring cuz all enemys dies so fast. In emain you can always find someone to kill. and we are also inactive and have moved to hib prydwen, so for the rest of you, gl trying to win in emain now.

believe me i played this server since day 1 open beta so lol at you. Also you need to grow up, also wildfires right maybe not in destination, pvp/prydwen its all the same, YOU are neglecting your realm, rvr in emain solves nothing, nolby did lead first successful relic raid yes i know that but since then your heads have got bigger and bigger and you care less about you realm than you do about getting rp's, face facts 90% of people know what you are like and have lost all respect for Nolby and theres very little Pride left in it.

Am rather glad you don't know me. I certainly don't know you ingame, ony reason you stick out is cos u come on here thinking NP is god's gift to DAoC, ramble on about how NP is so high and mighty and cares about Mid blah blah, and when Mid actually needs help for liek the first time, youturn tail and bugger off to play on Prydwen, best thing u ever done IMO least we don't have to put up with ur ub3r l337 skills and BS on excal any more.

Considering certain people have been expressing concern that Midgard is dead and buried, the figures aren't as bad as many would presume. And since the Albs took our relic, Sauvage and Odin's have come alive with activity again with Mids out in force.
